Hi All, has everyone had been through an ectopic pregnancy after FET. I would like to know what happens next and what did you do differently. I am 5 weeks post surgery so i was wondering when can i exercise and start trying natural.

Has anyone got any advice i am seeing my consulate in January. I was thinking about putting 2 embryos back in but not sure if its a high risk not sure if they will say yes or not.

Thanks in advance xx

I’m so sorry to hear about your ectopic. I know how hard it is I had an ectopic in July at 6.5 weeks. I didn’t conceive with FET tho I conceived naturally but like you I lost my tube, right tube. My ectopic has ruptured so I was suffering quite a bit. I felt back to normalish about 4 weeks after. You will be okay to try naturally after your first proper period after ectopic. There is rumours that the egg can move to the remaining tube even if it’s from the ovary without a tube. Wishing you luck xxxx

Hi Stsr. Not too sure whether you have had an ectopic pregnancy and had surgery to remove one of your Fallopian tubes or not. If that is the case, then usually you should be good to try again once your menstrual has returned to what is normal for you - usually the second one post-op and any wounds have healed. You then ask about the symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy, mentioning the pain you have in your side. You would need to get a doctor to check this out for you. Diane

Hi Diane thank you for the replay, yes i had my left tube removed but no pain or symptoms.

I have had one normal period so is it okay to be sexual active as well

Thank you Diane

Do you think i can do 30mins of exercise on the bike, i am pain free and wounds have healed but i still have a disposable stitch in the belly button.

I would wait until the stitch has dropped out. Go for a long walk instead. Diane
