So I’m 7dp5d transfer and I tested early...silly me and it’s a BFN do you all think it’s too early or am I out?

This is our 3rd go with 2 embryos transferred and can’t face another failed attempt.....Help please xx

i agree, IVF drugs mess wit the hcg levels thats why they make us wait... not just to mentally torture us!? :0)

Absolutely agree! I’ve been on a natural cycle but they still have me an ovitrelle shot after my transfer and I’ve no real idea of how long that will stay in my system so I don’t want to risk it... we’ve made it this far 💪🏻

I’ve never tested earlier than 8 to 10 days so I would hold on! Use a FRER test and try again each day x

Hi, I used a First Response when I tested early. I think in most cases a BFP will show by 7dpt but there are many cases where it doesn’t show until later. I know it’s difficult but keep testing until your OTD. Good luck...x

I was thinking as I had 2 embies put in by now if there was HCG surely it would of shown by now xx

Perhaps if both embies have implanted, however I had 2 embies transferred and only one stuck and so unlikely I would have had increased HCG levels. Some embies are also late implanters....x

I thought they had to implant by day 5 if it was a 5day blast? Any later they wouldn’t implant? Xx

I understand that day 5 embryos can implant between days 1-5 and that HCG is usually secreted on day 6. By day 7 levels could still be too low to detect and it’s usually by day 9 that it’s more easily detectable. That’s why most people try using a FRER. It is really difficult not knowing and the reality is that getting a BFN at any point is disheartening but many people do get BFPs after 7dpt. Fingers crossed for you...x

It's still a bit early and clearblue dont have the most sensitive detection. FRER are the most sensitive ones. Hang on in there, still time to change. Good luck for OTD.xx

The clearblue test I did seemed to take ages to come up it was a digital one aswell I thought the digital ones would be good xx

They're just not as sensitive for low levels of hCG that's all.xx

I was hoping it took so long as it was trying to detect the smallest amount of HCG I just feel so down now xx

It's still early days really!! That's the downside of testing early, it really knocks hard when you see a negative. Hang on in there.xx

The digital will not detect this early on. If you must get a FRER like everyone says but as a serial early tester, I’d say wait it out. It just really hurts otherwise! Xxxx

Yeah! It just sucks all the hope out and then you have to carry on. Eurgh, I remember wishing I could just be knocked out till otd. How are you doing today and did you test again? Xxx

Hi ya hun I didn’t test again today was too scared but started to get pinkish blood when I wipe not enough for a pad but still worried xx

You have better self-control than me re testing. Once I start, I really can’t stop. The spotting could be good news, remember that. When is otd?
