My beautiful baby boy Henry James Hughes was born on the 22nd of August, weighing 6lbs and 8oz. He arrived in fast dramatic fashion, they broke my waters to begin induction due to reduced movements. They were willing to give me 2 hours after breaking the waters to see if my contractions would begin on their own without the drip. I went from 2cm to 10cm in 52 minutes and it all became very scary after that. His heart rate crashed and they needed to get him out quickly so 1 episiotomy and ventouse later he made his way into the world after nearly 3 years of waiting and tests.

I just wanted to say that this forum was a great source of comfort and support throughout our fertility struggle. For those of you still going through this journey: we feel your pain and know the struggle. There is hope.
