Unfortunately baby has passed away within the past 24 hours. Not really sure what to do right now or how to handle this situation, whether to let myself go into "labour" naturally or use tablets to help things along. Thanks ladies for always being supportive, were just a little broken right now from the loss of our precious son. 💔💔💔

From my experience, I was told that if I opted for things to develop naturally, then I could go for another cycle on my 2nd bleeding. If I opted for tablets or had to things surgically, more time would be needed for my body to recover

Weve opted to take the tablet to speed things up as I need some sort of timescale. Go back on Monday for the pessaries if its needed. We wouldnt be mentally prepared enough to start again in a couple months anywa, thinking of maybe taking 12 months out for our sanity as we also had a misscarraige last year. But thank you x

So sorry to hear that.. I lost my two ivf babies 1.5 year ago at 19+3 weeks. I went into labour naturally. It was a horrible horrible experience. Leaving the hospital with just my belongings, no babies, the funeral afterwards.. I don't wish this to happen to my worst enemy as the saying goes.

The specialist bereavement midwife will help and counselling will also be offered. Reach out to Sands, a stillbirth and neonatal death charity. Google for your local one. I found them very helpful and didn't feel that I was the only one this happened to.

Thank you lovely and I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I went in to labour this morning and delivered our perfect boy at 10.37am and spent all day with him. The bereavement midwife was wonderful! Shes made casting of his hands and feet which she is going to paint for us and we can collect later this week, she took plenty of photos, hand and foot prints etc. She really was a wonderful women and such a necessary job role that unfortunately probably isnt recognised enough except for those if us who have to experience these awful events first had

Baby Benjamin Christopher was born at 10.37am after a short 6 hour labour. Born within his waters and was absolutely perfect, the bereavement midwife was amazing, after my panic and genuinely thinking I was dying from the pain, plenty of kept sakes that we will forever cherish. Thank you for all your love and support, were just trying to figure our how life will move forward now. Lots of love xxxx
