Yay after my worry of it not going ahead this month, I had my surge last night, just had a scan and all good to go for transfer this Thursday 🥳🥳. Phew phew. So pleased and feel fortunate that all ok and even with my bonkers cycle this month it ok to go.

Starting my pessaries and clexane today and transfer is Thursday. Then be the dreaded 2WW. All worth it though. See what this cycle brings. Never a dull moment for sure.

Can I ask a question? I know you need to take the pessaries for 5 days before transfer, do they count the transfer day as the fifth day? I have my scan tomoro and I’m confident they’ll ask my to start pessaries (my lining is usually good) so trying to plan ahead x

Heya. Am pretty sure u take it in morning as usual. The nurse didn’t say otherwise and know that the transfer wouldn’t be until the afternoon anyways so makes sense to continue as usual.

Yes 5th day is transfer day am pretty sure. Sorry not 100% was just so pleased to get through it.

Ooh when u think ur transfer will be? Can be FET and 2ww buddies ☺️👍👍

I think it’ll be this Friday in that case so I’ll just be a day after you. So exciting/terrifying!

Unfortunately Friday is also the day of a family funeral so I’m going to have to lie and say I can’t go because none of the family know about the IVF 😩 x

Cat that's great news! What calendar day did you get the surge? When do you start progesterone(calendar day?). That gives me hope as I'm cd14 and still no sign of lh surge and I'm usually ovulating around CD 13!

Has your lining been thicker the whole time? Mine is hovering around 7.3 so I'm not sure it's going to be my month as I need it to be thicker than 8mm.

Thank u Hun. Yep really didn’t think it would happen but be hold 10pm last night on day 14 I got my surge and this morning too. Phew. Def still a chance hun. When ur next scan?

Mine got to 8-9 I think it was and then one follicle of 18 I think. The nurse said all ok to go so yeah hopefully urs will be fine too.

Oh wow. So do you just test lh surge with the cheap Amazon sticks? I can only test on the advanced clear blue monitor in the morning. The cheap paper sticks on Amazon are useless and I'm not even registering a line on those.

I don't think I'm going to ovulate this cycle because yesterday's cd13 scan only showed follicle was at 12-13mm and lining only 7.3 so I can't see it getting there in the next few days. So confused and upset.

But so glad your lh surge came in and you're on track! Keep us posted xx

Sorry to hear that hun. So frustrating I know. Been there on other cycles. U never know though as it cud just be late. Know others have experienced that. 🤞🤞 for u.

I tested on the clear blue advanced ovulation sticks. Used to do cheapies but like u said wasn’t getting much from them so yeah got there luckily. It meant to show peak fertility on these too but had none these month it appeared just a surge but hey.

U got another scan tomorrow? Hopefully the clinic will advise if worth continuing in this cycle or not. Know it hard when like that but hopefully can adapt if needed for next one and hopefully all be fine for go ahead🤞🤞xx

I don't know any those test sticks you're using...? Mine advanced clear blue fertility monitor only lets me test on mornings once a day...it automatically switches to "high" from "low" around cd and just stays there until I get a "peak" which doesn't what's occur each month. I wish I knew which other lh test kits they had so I could test more often.

When do they usually call it quits on a cycle if no ovulation had occurred? I'm CD 14 today and I'll be tested scanned again on Tuesday morning which will be CD 16...

Ahh yeah think saw those ones. Sound good. I almost always get my surge in the afternoon so am using these ones -CLEARBLUE Advanced Digital Ovulation Test With Dual Hormone Indicator 20 Tests- and can test twice -three times a day. Maybe worth a go too but sure ur clinic can advise too to. Unsure when they know. Hopefully they be able to say on Tuesday. Know others have a bit later on day 17-18 so may still be a possibility. 🤞🤞

Good luck for Thursday - I had a natural FET yesterday, so now 10 more days of waiting...

I did get pregnant last year with a medicated FET but despite having a heartbeat at the viability scan, there was no heartbeat 2 weeks later.

It feels really weird this time, as if nothing is happening - I think because the meds caused such obvious symptoms last time.

I’m trying really hard not to stress, but I just want to know what’s happening in there!

Yeah am same got pregnant a few months back and all fine at 7 weeks n then naturally miscarried at 11, the day of my first midwife appointment 😢 is def devastating a. But always good to continuing trying and stay hopeful. 🤞🤞🤞 it will our time. Best wishes xx
