Finally back to negative!

After 9.5 long weeks, one methotrexate injection and a whole lots of tears my beta is finally back to zero. I never thought I’d be celebrating this fact but after the torment we’ve gone through the last nearly 10 weeks I’m glad the blood tests and this part is finally over.

I know this sounds weird but I am so happy for you. Totally get what you are feeling. I got my BFP in Nov, MMC diagnosed early Jan but it wasn't until late March after 2 surgical managements I finally stopped bleeding and got my BFN. It was such a hard lonely time which no one really understands unless they have been through it. I am really pleased physically your terrible experience is over and it then is so much easier to deal with things mentally as you can start to feel 'normal' again. Wishing you masses of success for the future, you will be surprised how quickly you go from dreading seeing that second line to wishing you could see it again xx

I’m sorry to hear that you went through such a rough time hun. Now that the physical side is done we’ve got 3 months to regroup until we can attempt to TTC again xx

I really hope that 3 months is a reset for you - I found it really helped for me. As we couldn't do IVF or TTC etc I was really nice to just forget about it (well.. try to!!) I really enjoyed being a 'normal' person, had a month off the whole IVF diet thing, drank what I wanted, ate what I wanted, lifted heavy things, had red hot baths etc! it felt sooo good.i hope you manage to have some time to yourself and maybe get away from it all. it took me time to heal mentally and I still feel scarred by it all but the break really was therapy. Masses of luck with everything xx

Im doing ok thanks! We have to wait for 12 wks before we start again so just in limbo land until October.xx

Yeah we’re the same. Because of the injection we have to wait 3 months to try again xx

I totally understand. I felt the same way after my ectopic. It’s weird but it’s totally a relief. Wishing you all the luck in the world going forward xx
