I’m 5w+5d, but clearblue digi today says I’m 2 -3 weeks...anyone else ever had this and been ok?

My scan isn’t for another 2 weeks.

I’ve had no bleeding or cramps or any signs to say it’s over and I wasn’t worried until I stupidly did the test this morning. Was hoping it would say 3+ as that’s the highest Reading it gives.

I’ve read online that they can sometimes be a bit inaccurate - anyone have experience of this and it’s all been ok?! X

Try not to worry - they definitely vary, as does the concentration of hormone in your wee. I have really variable tests for the first 7 weeks and everything was fine. At 7 weeks they got really faint and I panicked, but it was most likely because the hormone level was too high by then. I stopped testing at that point! 😉

I didn’t use clearblue digital after I first tested positive with my daughter. I’d heard & seen other ladies get stressed as it didn’t go to 3 weeks + on the indicator, so I avoided it! I did regularly test with pregnancy tests- I remember one of my tests looking fainter line & holding underneath a light to show hubby to ask for his opinion - all I got was “ it’s a positive!!” 🤣 and looked at me like I’d gone a bit loopy 🤣🤣🤣 I discovered my tests showed darker in the afternoon/ early evening my HCG levels were higher then.

I feel for you I found the early weeks really tough. You think everything will be okay once you have that all elusive BFP well at least that’s what you tell yourself! You think it’s the end of the journey but it’s not & I found managing the anxiety I had with the pregnancy harder than TTC I could not relax properly until she was here I kept thinking it was too good to be true. I wish I could’ve been less worried & enjoyed my pregnancy more but I guess this journey takes it out of you, it had been a long 7 years to become pregnant it wasn’t easy. None of us here have had an easy time of it.

It’s good to hear I’m not the only one who has had this issue - just wish I hadn’t bothered using it! I think I’ll just stay away from tests now and wait for the scan and somehow put this test out of my mind?!

These early weeks are soooo tough, you’re very right! It’s such an anxious time. I’ve waited over 5 years for this. I want to relax and enjoy it so badly too - I hope I’ll be a bit more relaxed if the scan is positive. Thanks so much for your reply, I really

It’s very hard definitely not the only one who turns into a serial tester we all just want to get that reassurance and hope by testing it will somehow put our minds at rest but doesn’t always! It’s hard to believe it’s finally happened after such a tough journey you get so used to it not happening it’s a shock when it finally does. It’s even tougher after a previous miscarriage.

Scans are amazing & make it feel very real! And reassuring ❤️

Do whatever makes you feel calm if testing helps do it ( it eased me when I had spotting) whatever works for you.

I’ve heard they are not reliable. I had my scan at 6+6, you could always ring the clinic and see if they can get you in any earlier x

I was offered week 6 but was told it could be too early to see anything but week 7 would be definite so I decided to go for week 7, not sure how I feel now that that’s still 2 weeks to go!! Need to just hang on x

Hi hun when I was 10 weeks pregnant I took clearblue digi ...I know silly me but I just couldn’t believe so show me 2-3 weeks.

I think that the max can show .

Just use different one maybe the “smiling face” one .

I wouldn’t worry .Cramps I only had few time after my test day and that all. My baby girl is now 25 months old.

Thanks so much Olivia! That’s so reassuring to know yours said 2 to 3 weeks at 10 weeks! The maximum it can go to is 3+. Was expecting to see that. It obviously isn’t very accurate and hopefully everything is still ok for me. I had cramps a few times after my test date too and not really anything at all since then. I feel ‘normal’ so just have to hope everything is fine. Congrats on your daughter ❤️❤️❤️ and thank you for still being around on here now you’re a mummy to give others not there yet your support xxx

Hun we even had a private scan when I was 10 weeks because I felt so normal ☺️

No cramps , no sick no any fancy food ...nothing . When we went for 12 weeks scan she wasn’t in the position that midwife want her to be to do all Measurement ...after 30 min she finally had a chance ...she was moving so much ..

We had one frostie from when I had my baby so we decided to do fresh cycle this feb. They transferred grade A embryo but didn’t work ....so the only good outcome was that we have another 3 frostie.

We going through My very first frozen cycle...natural one . I had my period and my first scan is next Wednesday coming. I being told to start my ovulation sticks day before appointment first morning pee and 12h after.

Just feels strange that no meds r involved . Xx

Hey Scarlett, the exact same thing happened to me last week, I think I had my transfer about a week before yours. It showed 2-3 weeks but my urine was very dilute. I tested again a few days later and it said 3 plus. Try not to get hung up about it, sometimes if the HcG reading is high it can confuse the tests 🙈 xxx

Oh really? That’s good to know - although my urine was first of the day and not diluted!! Don’t know whether to do a FRER tomorrow now or to just stop testing?! When’s your viability scan? Xxx

I have stopped now tho as I’ll find out on Monday if everything’s ok 🤪🤪. I’m nervous about it all and I feel ok, no nausea just extreme tiredness, wanting to wee all the time and sore boobs. Everyone’s diffident tho I suppose xxx
