Update of second round of IVF ❤️

Thought I would give a little update of our next round... So we have been on treatment for 3 weeks, I have been taking progynova pills, plus oestrogen patches, which I have been placing on my thighs.. they are sticky little buggers! Feels like a waxing strip when I have to remove it and use a new one! Ouch!

I’ve had 4 tracking scans to check the thickness of my womb ready for transfer, had to have 2 extra ones, due to it progressing but wasn’t measuring at quite the right place for which the clinic would like.

My final one measure at 7.7mm whoop! 🤞🏻 So they said I was good to go for embryo transfer... yikes!!

Our donor has produced some lovely eggs for us, we are now waiting for the results of how many have been fertilised 🤞🏻🍀... hoping for some good news.

I’ve now got to take progesterone pessaries and wait for further instruction... looking at transfer early next week!

Feeling very anxious and worried 😬😟, but also keeping positive 💕❤️ ... this ivf process isn’t easy but I’m keeping grounded and going with the flow...

Everything crossed for you! I have my second scan tomorrow to check my lining and first time we'll hear how many eggs our donor is likely to have, she'll be on day 7 of stims 🤞. Let us know your progress! Are you doing it in the UK? Xxx

Glad I'm not the only one feeling the stickiness of the oestrogen patches!! I much prefer injecting myself than peeling those things off!! 😔😂

Great news about your lining. I've had to add extra oestrogen tablets to my meds this week to increase my lining further - got a scan tomorrow to make sure its behaving!

The patches are a nightmare to get off! Least they stick though and do what they’re meant to.

We got 7 little embabies currently as they all fertilised!! 😀❤️ relieved that they all took, getting an update on Saturday to see if they have grown further, looking like transfer is set to be Monday 😬🤞🏻 Eeek!

It feels so close, but yet still so far away from being pregnant and getting our miracle... it good things come to those who wait though I guess. Xx

That's amazing news about your little embies, 🤞 they are continuing to grow well. It definitely is a long journey but you are getting closer and i hope one of these embabies is your little miracle.
