Spotting? Implantation bleeding? Over thinking? Ahhh

So Im due Flo in the next 4/5 days... I have woke up this morning to what I can only describe as a bit of brown discharge when I wipe (sorry TMI) literally only a bit first thing and then once more when I visited the toilet... would it be wrong of me to get my hopes up about being pregnant? Could this be implantation? Or just Flo on the way? Could this be my first sign... anyone else had this if so what was your outcome? All advice welcome! Thanks in advance!

Hi Jmm. If you have had IVF or FET, then it could be down to using progesterone pessaries?? They can be a bit yucky from time to time. Hope all is well. Diane

I got this during my 2WW and it must have been implantation as I'm now 20 weeks pregnant i was only 6 days off testing so I was convinced I was going to start bleeding properly. Have you had any other symptoms? Mine were sore boobs, anxiety in the sense of my heart would pound and sickness even before I tested. Wishing you all the luck in the world on your journey xx

Thank you for getting back to me! Aww congratulations to you first of all! I have felt nauseous but haven’t been sick and I’ve got an awful taste in my mouth which a friend of mine swears she got when she were pregnant... it’s so hard because I’m literally sat waiting now to see whether or not I’m going to come on- as I can’t make my mind up if I feel like I’m going to or not... thank you for responding to me I really appreciate it and wish you all the best throughout the rest of your pregnancy and into motherhood- congratulations again! Ahhh I can completely relate 😱 it feels like the longest wait in the world. I found that reiki really helped me on my journey, it really relaxed me and helped my mind focus on other things. Best of luck again xx keep me posted!

Isn’t it just? I’m finding it hard to not go buy a test as I know if I do I’ll just be tempted to keep doing them over and over such a viscous circle!

I’m in a similar position to you right now! I’ve had bleeding when I wipe but nothing more as yet and it’s getting less if anything. I did a pregnancy test yesterday but it was negative. Will do another one tomorrow. Have you tested yet? How many days dpo are you? I am 15 now but bleeding started at day 12. Hard not to get your hopes up isn’t it! Any other symptoms? X

Oh hun it’s awful isn’t it- I will keep everything crossed for you too! Have you ever had this happen before? I’m 11 dpo and this happened yesterday and it was only when I wiped... had a little more this morning but that’s it? I have a very strange taste in my mouth that I can’t really explain but other than that no... have you got any other symptoms? im trying to hold off testing as for me personally I know I can obsess over testing, I hope you get your BFP ☺️ Xxx

Each other time I’ve had this it’s ended up being a period however this is drying up not getting heavier. I don’t think I have any other symptoms really..boobs a bit tender but nothing out of the norm. Waiting game for us both I think then! Fingers crossed for you 🤞 xx

Well I can only hope that means it’s a positive outcome for you! I think it’s so hard as I could literally put every PMS symptom down to pregnancy and they do so it’s very similar... same to you! Keep me posted (if you don’t mind) xxx
