Help! Missed prognyova and freaking out (8 weeks + 2 following FET)

Hello, wondering if anyone can help? As the title of my post says I am 8 weeks + 2 following a FET. After an awful night's sleep last night I slept in and rushed out the house to go to work and only realised on the bus that I had forgotten to take my 4 prognyova tablets this morning. I won't get home until 6.30 tonight and have no way of getting back home to collect them (I work over an hour away from home and have back to back meetings all day). I've tried to call the clinic for advice but no one is picking up. Has anyone had experience of this? How big a problem is it to miss a day? I'm due to stop taking the pills in 10 days and am really worried missing it today will harm the baby :( Any advice?

Check with your clinic of course, but I stopped taking mine after 6-week scan so hopefully it's not a disaster that you've missed yours at 8+ weeks. I took them spread out through the day and Dr had me come off them over the course of a few days. Maybe you can take advantage of the situation to start cutting down until stopping completely in 10 days as planned? Hope everything's ok xxx

Thanks for your reply. Yeah it's weird that people get different info about how long to take hormones following a FET. I'm on 4 x progynova in the morning and 3 ustrogen pessaries a day and have been told to keep going until almost 10 weeks then stop cold turkey. It's just taken so long to get to this point and I'm feeling so guilty about messing it all up :( Fingers crossed it will all be ok.

I take mine in split doses (am/lunch/pm) but if you’ve been taking them all together I think you would be fine just to take them all together when you get home xx

Hi lovely, try not to panic! I forget mine all the time 🙈 I just take them whenever I remember and the clinic said that's fine x

Ha ok thanks for your reassurance! My morning sickness is still well and truly here today so that’s a good sign all is ok. It’s mad how easy it is to overthink everything and think the worst will happen. Hoping for a calmer day today!

Overthinking and panicking are two of my favourite hobbies right now 😂 good old morning sickness! Always there to reassure us x

Yes - such a love/hate relationship with it! If only there was a nicer way to indicate all is ok :) x
