Hi there

I've just been given meds and I'm used to Clexane but this time I've got a batch of Inhixa. Same dose and meant to be same thing but syringe looks double the size!!! 😳😳

Anyone using Inhixa and all ok?? Makes me a little nervous when brand is changed?!?

Thanks

Inhixa is still the exact same ingredient so you shouldn’t find it any different, just scary when they look different x

Hi, they are exactly the same drug, just different brands, so no need to worry about switching. There is a supply problem with clexane so inhixa is being used much more now.

The syringes are quite different though. I've used both and found clexane much more user friendly! I didnt really like the inhixa syringes, found them quite tricky to use although it did get easier after the first couple of times. Good luck!

Excellent! I also find medication quite daunting when it is new to me. I started cetrotide injections today - first time to do them! Was a bit worried but it all turned out fine 😊

I prefer the Inhixa syringes as I find it easier to avoid bruising - the way the Clexane ones are designed to cover over the needle after the injection made it quite difficult to do smoothly. But it's the same medicine, so just personal preference really xx

I just looked at the size of syringe compared to Clexane and thought πŸ˜³πŸ‘€πŸ˜‚πŸ’‰

All ok though 😊

True! I don't think you'll have any problem with it though, just takes some getting used to 😊

Ive taken both, they are the same so try not to worry! I think sometimes there is a bit of a shortage of clexane which is just a brand name so you get supplied with other names like Inhixa.xx

It’s the exact same thing, just a different brand. I found those needles a bit better than the clexane.
