Starting Treatment next Week!

Starting ICSI next week when AF arrives. What can I expect from Buserilin? I’ve been warned menopausal symptoms so hot flushes, night sweats, headaches and bad moods. What did everyone experience? I’m not worrying what will happen will happen but just interested to hear people’s experiences and what to expect.

I thought it felt a lot like being hungover without the alcohol! Tiredness, fuzzy heads, headaches, bit grumpy, emotional/teary and when AF came it was more painful than normal! However I felt much better once I got onto to the next stage so even if you do get all of those rubbish side effects then there is light at the end of the tunnel! Good luck!xx

I'm currently on Buserelin and feel exactly as Cinderella5 describes above. I'm an absolute delight to live with at the moment 🤣😂

Well I told my husband I hate him earlier and accidentally slapped him in the balls so I’d say he’s planning on moving out when I start taking medication!! 😂 He hadn’t even done anything he was cooking the dinner he just responded when I started moaning instead of ignoring me and that was enough. I’m assuming AF is coming soon. 🤦🏽‍♀️

For me, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I got quite bad headaches and was (apparently) a bit grumpy, but I didn't experience anything too bad. Good luck with your cycle xx

Congratulations on starting treatment. I didn’t seem to have any symptoms on burselin but then I know everyone’s different, I drunk loads of water, think that helped xx
