Busererlin injection starting today - long protocol - first round with ICSI

I am due to start my injections for long protocol today. I have felt fine up until today and today I feel like giving up. We have experienced a lengthy investigation process and feel we have faced so many battles to get here and today I feel like I have had enough. Any one else due to start? I am 24 and we have male factor antibodies 100 percent antibodies on my partners sperm so we are due to have icsi. Fingers crossed for you all going theough this tough journey x

Hi Zoe, it will be fine! I promise. I started 12 days ago on a day 2 I wanted to give up and cancel the whole thing. I posted on this forum and the strength and encouragement from ladies on here gave me hope and strength. It's worth giving it a try, if you don't try you may regret this later. Injections are that bad actually, I was freaking out about them before but that's the easy part. Wishing you all good luck x

You can do it. Is scary at first but u’ll get used to it. Means to an end, hopefully a good one xx

Hi, IVF is daunting but you've come a long way already - you can do it! I'm 23 days into my first IVF cycle. It's been a little overwhelming at times but with the support from this forum, close friends and my clinic I am feeling positive. Wishing you all the best with your injections and your cycle x

Good to hear you are feeling more positive today. Moods will definitely be up and down, it's a bit of an emotional rollercoaster! I think taking things 1 day at a time really helps x
