How to start receive egg donor

Hi, quick story about me. Had both Fallopian tube removed, low AMH, went 2 ivf cycles with immature eggs. So now I am thinking to start using egg donor cause I can’t use mine, so I am asking if anyone here used any egg donor before? Any supplements should I take prior to egg donor transfer? Few months before and what best to help for implantation? Any best tips or experience I should consider.

Hello, MRSrob. I am preparing for my second ICSI+DE. Several years ago I had an IVF+OE but it failed. After a long break, I continued my journey with DE. I'm undergoing my treatment abroad and the clinic provides me all the needed support. A few days ago I started my stims so I hope at the end of this month I will be able to have FET. Hope, everything will be alright this time.

As for you, don't be afraid and go ahead as a donation is one more chance for us to achieve our main life-important aim!

Actually, it was a pick up on the 12th day and in 5 days I had an ET. Except for medications, I took folic acid, Vit E and Aspekard.

Hey, Im doing DE abroad...there are a fair few of us ladies on here doing the same. Supplement wise, my clinic only advise folic acid, Vit D & Vit C. As for implantation, I have tried the lot and had BFNS (pineapple core, beetroot juice, pomegranate juice etc), I think I just think its down to luck really now as we got a BFP on our last cycle and I didnt do anything in particular for that one to "aid implantation" but sadly had a miscarriage. I would start them when you can, I dont think it really matters if its 3 months before transfer (as in I wouldnt delay treatment) but it would obviously be good to have them in your system before you start.xx

Hi Cinderella, just curious, where are you doing DE? Athens? Why did you decide to go abroad?

Yes Athens. We didnt have a lot of choice of private clinics near us to be honest. The nearest one is a fair old trek away for us and it was considerably more expensive. We also figured that holidays are now out for us as treatment is expensive so we can have a holiday by the beach & city at the same time. Also I'd done a lot of research and their success rates are good which is the main thing along with a recommendation.xx

You know, I'm not quite sure, if you read my post from yesterday, but there is one interesting therapy for women with low AMH that really may help to conceive and already have some good feedbacks. it is called "Donation of mitochondria". Have you heard anything about that?
