Pregnancy Testing Kit

Hi all. I'm getting ready to test on Sat and just want a few things clear in my head. How long after peeing should you see a result if it doesn't say anything on the packaging? I was speaking to a friend and she said that if you check after a certain time, the results are not accurate? Is this the case? Thanks

Always test with first urine of the day & use a sensitive pregnancy test.

Most pregnancy tests will have instructions over test timings. Any results after 5 minutes should be disregarded.

My positive came up within 2 minutes. It felt longer! 🤣

Good luck with testing got my fingers crossed for you xoxo

Thank you Jess. I'm so nervous now.....xx

When you're going to test get a sensitive one, first response is the best for sure and the result should come up quite clear, also has clear instructions, don't waste your money on cheap tests. Good luck xxxxx

Thanks Lianna. What about Clear Blue? Are they any good? I've bought a pack of them.....xx

Depends which ones you've got, if it's a blue dye one I don't think they're good at all, I've had evaporation lines on those. Although if your HCG is high enough the line will be clear.... If you take it and you're unsure get a first response xxxx

Clear Blue are the LEAST sensitive tests. God knows why people buy them. (The only useful CB are the weeks indicator ones if you aren’t sure how your pregnancy is progressing or how far you are).

Early testing should use a First Response.

Also, even a very faint second line is still a line. It won’t look like the control line until probably past period due date.

Wishing you luck, try to do it with your first wee of the day so you've been sleeping and held it in for a good few hours. Fingers crossed.xx
