Only 2 follicles but going for it 🤞🏼

So my 2nd monitoring scan today shows 2 follicles 17mm & 19mm with another 2 measuring just 8mm. Sadly the 4 antra-follicles on my right ovary haven’t responded at all. This is our 4th attempt for a sibling for our 3 year old DS who we hit the jackpot with first go IVF . However after 2 BFNs we then got our BFP last year which sadly resulted in miscarriage due to the Gestational sac not growing! This is extremely rare 😕

I feel we are due some luck... (hard to get hopes up when these are worst results at this stage so far) I also feel emotionally & financially this may be our last shot. Anyway following advice from our medical team today we will go for EC on Friday and pray we have quality over quantity. I know am luckier than some as have one precious son, am just desperately trying to give him a sibling. One more miracle please 🙏🏻

Thanks so much, I notice you have your EC tomorrow too. Sounds like you have a good few follicles wishing you all the best. Do you mind me asking what FSH drugs you were on ? This was my first time on Menopur and worst ever response. Quality is all I can wish for 🙏🏻🤞🏼🙏🏻🍀

I was on Gonal f 200 for 4 days then they upped it to 275. Was hoping for more chances but fingers crossed for quality over quantity. Good luck hun xx

Thanks Lou, I just read your profile am so sorry you haven’t had the best journey so far. Have you tried double transfers? I have only ever got pregnant with a double transfer x

Just noticed you are in your 2ww, the worst bit. Good luck, hope it goes fast and I hate them blooming pessaries.... necessary evil but I also had the most terrible wind 💨 I always use panty liners as I hated the leaking. I find am smelling it on my clothes for months afterwards 😕 All gonna be worth it am sure 🤞🏼🙏🏻🤞🏼🍀

Thank you, I’m half way through but can’t wait to test. I thought ah well I had months of practice waiting after ovulation testing to period I’ll get through this but it’s totally different... blimey its hard not knowing 🤯

I know this will be my 5th transfer (hopefully) it never gets easier. Only once I tested early as was going insane, read somewhere ovulation strips will show positive reading if pregnant. So just to boost my spirits I did and got obsessed tested every day but with ovulation strips .....each day getting stronger test line. Sounds crazy but I did get my BFP last year on the OTD with the proper test of course. So must be some sort truth in . ( unfortunately ended in MC ) Hoping we are both lucky this time x

5th transfer, wow. You’re a trooper!

I’m all very new to IVF, well ICSI for me.

That’s interesting about the strips, think I’m going to wait until my OTD
