Hello Emmaxxx, I had my FET on 1st March. Today is 4dp5dt for me. I keep napping the past few days with discomfort like stomachache feeling. Other than that no other symptoms. So hard to keep mind off it. How are you doing?

Yes I do the pressaries twice a day, must be that. My test date will be 11th March (10dp5dt).

I had my embryo transfer done on the 27th March my test date is the 8th March. I just had the 1 embryo out back in. It’s a 4AA embryo grade 😊x

Hi Emma, I'm currently on 2ww from FET am 5dp5dt. Have the cold atm so coughing and now feel like could have a kidney infection although not sure if it's the crinone making me feel this way. Have left a sample to gp this morning just to be sure. How r u? X

Hey hun I just started my 2ww I had my FET yesterday 😊 so yep not feeling anything but am feeling really good so far I'm pretty chilled. Hi. Oh you poor thing. It’s so hard any but to feel poorly as well is rubbish. I hope that the gp gives you antibiotics and I hope you feel better soon. Keep us posted xx. I’m ok just hate the long long wait xx

Hey Nicole. I had my transfer yesterday too! Same here no symptoms just hate the pessaries and the long wait. When is your test date? I am also the queen of google and I keep telling myself to stop but I just can’t! I just hope this time at least one stick xx

Yeah I know hate these yucky pessaries but I'd too them the rest of my life if I got pregnant! 😉 I test on March 14th how bout you? Oh I know I cant helpmit either...after I commented on your post I was googling again, it's like I just do it without even thinking 🤣 yes I'm praying this one sticks it's my 3rd transfer but just the 1 embie. I hope this is both our time! 🙏🤞🍀 xxx

Yes I will probably test a day or 2 before as we get a blood test and the nurse calls with results so I want to be prepared if its bad news. Oh gosh what am I not googling! I Google day 6 blastocysts, embryo grading, the grade of my embie, success rates, frozen vs fresh..,the list goes on! Lol i wish I could stop!🤣🙃😬 xx

Lol. I started doing that but so many clinics use different grades so I just got confused 🤷‍♀️. We don’t have blood test. We have to provide our own home test and call them with the result. Last time I called them early in the morning and left a message on the answer machine so I didn’t have to talk to anyone. I know we shouldn’t but is it ok to test early. My husband wouldn’t let me last time and he says the same this time but I am going to sneak one in. Just don’t know when the best time is??? Xx

I've learned all sorts of embryo grading just from my googling...or research I like to call it 🤣🤣🙃 yeah my first failed transfer was horrible when the nurse called and told me I bursted into tears, couldn't talk and just hung up the phone 😬😞 if you do want to test I would say wait at least till 8dp5dt and make sure it's your morning wee. Try and stick it out as much as you can as trust me it will just make you crazy and you will keep wanting to retest. I will probably wait till the day before or morning of blood test xx

Wow!!! That is the one place I would love to visit!! We are massive rugby fans and seen the all blacks play At Twickenham but I want to see them play at home!!! X

Well you will be sadly disappointed to hear I'm not really into rugby lol I'll watch the all blacks but that's as far as it goes. I'm actually Canadian but have lived in New Zealand for 20 years, came here when I was just 19 on my own..In love with a boy. We are not together anymore, but yes i love New Zealand and this is home 😘💕 xxx

Hi Emma,

I’m 5dp5dt today. I’m doing ok but the 2ww craziness is beginning to make an appearance. I’m really trying to remain calm and positive but it’s hard to push that nagging voice to the back of my mind. I’m absolutely terrified that it’s not going to work again (this is my third transfer) I had an endometrial scratch done this time so I’m hoping that makes all the difference. I keep wanting to “feel” something but realise that it’s very early days. Some women have absolutely no signs and still get their bfp.

Hi! I understand what you mean. You just want to feel something but even people that get pregnant naturally don’t always feel anything for ages. Do you feel any different in yourself this time round after having the scratch done? Are you taking baby aspirin? Xx

I’m ok just hate all the waiting and I’m going back to work tomorrow and they don’t know so I will have to be careful with lifting etc as I keep forgetting!! I was reaching up to the top of the kitchen cupboard yesterday to get some old Christmas chocolate down to go in the bin. Why??? It’s been there since Christmas why did I decide to do it yesterday? Lol xx

No don’t really feel any different in myself. I haven’t been told to take baby aspirin? I’ve been signed off work for the 2ww, can’t be doing with the stress and lack of support.

It’s so easy to forget and just carry on as normal isn’t it. Like the doctor said to me, if pregnancy had happened the old fashioned way we wouldn’t have a clue this early on and would be going about our lives as normal. Xx

Hi Emma, I had my FET on 25th Feb, it is my first IVF experience, I have blood test tomorrow and these last two days have been the hardest (I know I am lucky not to have to wait 2 weeks). I was not prepared for the sore breasts which I have found hard as to me these are a sign of pregnancy as have manged to get pregnant naturally 3 times but not got past the 9 week stage on any. Fingers crossed for you, am trying to hold it together at work xxx

Emma what a great post because I’m now going insane!!!!! Had my first fresh transfer Monday 25th Feb and OTD is this Sunday. I’m now losing the plot. I’ve decided to test on the Saturday as I’ve got all weekend to cry (either way!)

I Know it sounds awful but I’m losing faith. We only had 1 embie and though it got to blastocyst (5dt) it was slow and hadn’t progressed as much as the embryologist hoped. It was quite crushing. we were never filled with positivity in the first place!

However, after googling, I’ve read of success stories and I believe in miracles.

It’s made the 2ww torturous. And that’s what it feels like. Torture. Sounds dramatic I know! 😂 I’m so scared to do the test though!!!

Yes, I don’t have a thyroid so the risk of twins for me is not really worth it.

Increased chance of miscarriage by medication not keeping up. The baby’s thyroid doesn’t function until it’s born so would be relying on me 🙈
