Have raised levels in immunology test and have to wait to take Humira to lower my immunity. But have tested positive for TB or latent TB.

As above.

Has anyone conquered this?

I'm already 44 and don't feel I have the months needed to sort these issues before trying IVF again.

Ah I’m so sorry to read that you are dealing with this and sorry I have no experience or real advice.

I do however understand how difficult it is feeling you don’t have time to deal with other issues when you just want to get going with your cycle.

I hope your clinic can help and offer you some answers.

Sending you positive thoughts

I’m sorry to hear about this I know how frustrating it is to have to wait for immunes tests and treatment before starting ivf. I too had humira.

But with latent TB I know it’s risky to take humira as it can activate the disease.

Wondered whether you could go through the ivf but freeze any embryos or fertilised eggs (zygotes) ? Then you can take the time for the immunes before having them transferred ?

I’ve got low ovarian reserve and have been freezing fertilised eggs all last year. With my immune issues too and age it was the best we could do.

Take care Wishing you the best xxx

Thank you. That's what we're going to ask the clinic about tomorrow so great minds think alike. I love the thought of you storing up your little dots
