Hi everyone, looking for some advice.

I have been prescribed Naproxen for some swelling i have from running. I am currently 9dpo.

I curiously googled Naproxen in pregnancy, and it mentions MC and birth defects, obviously i am ttc but I wouldn’t know until next week.

Should i take these or avoid?!

Hi HOpe. I'm sorry, but it is not advisable to take anti-inflammatory drugs during embryo development and pregnancy. Best to stick to paracetamol if you can, or any other pan relief you have been prescribed. Hope all goes well for you. You could elevate the limb and apply a cold compress f some kind to help reduce swelling. Frozen peas would do, but put a tea towl or something on first. Diane
