Contraceptive pill b4 donor treatment

Hi ladies, anyone used contraceptive before starting treatment with Donor Egg? my clinic wants me to take to regulise my period. but my husband is worried it will affect implantation. now he gets me worried. any success story on this Please ?

Hi lovely! I didn't repsond well to having my cycle synced as my lining never thickened, ended up being a freeze all on my first round and then opted for a freeze all on my second xx

My consultant was discussing the usage of BCP before our FET (I am having treatment abroad and therefore need precise dates to book flights) but we did not need it because my period arrived at the perfect time (once, finally!).

In my understanding, the medications you will take before the transfer will help you to build up your lining, hence I would not worry too much. Surely some other lady in your own position will help to shed some light! Also, why don't you ask directly to your clinic? They will surely be happy to reassure you!

This is quite common to use the pill so they can sync you with dates for treatment.xx
