I was just wondering something. How many days after you stopped Norethisterone you got your period? I know it's meant to come 2-3 days after stopping the tablets but just wondered for you own experience.
And after stopping did you get any period symptoms or it just started?
My last tablet was on friday and period is meant to come in the next 2 days but i have no symptoms at all and of course i started worrying again.

Thank you. Trying not to but Thursday the clinic found a cyst on one of the ovaries as well and now im like sitting on egg shells 😁 can't focus on anything 😁xxx
Oh bless you! I’ve no experience of cysts but I have heard they can come and go! Hopefully it will disappear on it’s own!! Good luck with everything xxx

Mine came after 3 days but it might take up to 7. I had some symptoms just before I got my period. Good luck with the next step of the process xx

Hope same happens to me. They found a cyst on Thursday i stopped Norethisterone on friday so hoping for af by Tuesday and hopefully will wipe the cyst off. And have another appointment on Wednesday but only if af comes and then will see if will carry on with tbe cycle.

I used to come on 2-3 days after provera or norethisterone when I was using it for period control but whenever I needed it for an IVF cycle it always took 7 days!
Lol i think our bodies know how much we want it and seize up.
Try to relax- it might just come quicker X
True. Always when you have a plan in your head when and what will happen something goes wrong. I was due to start with ivf in November but af was 2 days late and couldn't fit for fet around xmas. I'm due anytime now and was due to start stims as well but on Thursday they found a cyst on one of the ovaries so more complications hahahha. Our bodies always the opposite we want them to. Aww thanks.... Had a little wobble yesterday a week after the miscarriage but otherwise I'm ok. Feeling better and stronger but my AF won't stop (!) Can't wait to get back to normal
Hopefully your cyst will disappear after AF - I'm sure you'll come on soon XX
P.s they say eating dried fruits and spices etc helps with accelerating periods etc

Oyy im so sorry. I had a miscarriages last year around same time as you did. I bled for a month and i was just praying to be over.
It's hard time but unfortunately there is nothing we can do but carry on with our lives. Just relax and hopefully will stop very soon. Sending you millions hugs xxxx ❤❤❤❤❤

I used to have heavy periods that lasted weeks/months sometimes before. I really hope this will end by next week
I just came across the embryo scan pic as I was cleaning too. Had a little tear in my eye but otherwise I'm ok.

What was the dose of norethisteron? And in one day how many?
The dose of each tablet is 5mg and i had 1 in thr morning and 1 in the evening. I started on day 16 of my cycle for 10 days and mt period started 3 days after my last tablet xx

Just a protocol prior ivf. I have pcos and my period were not very regular. Unfortunately my cycle wasn't successful as we had nothing to transfer. Im waiting af and will start again xxx

I am going to cyprus for ivf.but everyone in cyprus have different opinions.
I have to go in Easter holidays and my cycle was coming early.
So different clinic suggest me to take birthday control pill for one month.but I have experienced with birth control pills they always give me spotting.
So I ask about norethisteron.some clinics said we will not recommend no
Some clinics said we will not recommend norethisteron and some said you can take norethisteron but they are not giving me clear answer that how many days should I take norethisteron.
I am worried if I take 5mg norethisteron 3 times a day for 17 days will it effect on ivf treatment?
Hi hunny I was 3 days on the last cycle, but clinic said anything up to 5 days is normal. I’m currently on noriethisrerone now (4 days left!) yay can’t wait to finish it, I hate down reg, boobs are sore, have stomach cramps but as soon as I stop taking it the symptoms disappear so it that’s normal for me too x x
Omg i felt exactly the same. I was so bloated, full of gas 🤭 and boobs were so sore. I took my last tablet and bang all symptoms were gone hahaha. Now waiting for symptoms for af but none hahaha. Fingers crossed will come on time xxxx
I know the bloating is awful, how ironic that it makes it look like you’re in early pregnancy 🤦♀️Last time I thought AF just wasn’t going to arrive as normally I have really bad cramps for about a week before AF, but when down reg finishes just nothing and then out of the blue AF shows her ugly face. I also thought AF was going to be hideous and really painful and heavy, but it was no different to normal x x x
