3rd/4th day of flashing smiley opk?!

Hi guys,

I’m cycle day 26 today and still getting flashing smileys on my opk! They started around cd 23, is this normal to get flashing smiley for a few days?! Beginning to think I’ll never see my peak fertility face! My cycles are usually 38 days long! Didn’t think the flashing smileys would last this long xxx

If you want a tip, I’d ditch the flashing ones and just use the digital clearblue that doesn’t flash. Our clinic gave me one and I haven’t used another opk since. There’s no second guessing with the ones that don’t flash, it’s either a smiley face (positive) or an open empty circle ⭕️ for negative xx

Omg thank you so much I’ll look into getting myself some of those! It’s driving me crazy! I was so happy to see the flashing face and now I’m like WILL YOU EVER CHANGE?!😂 I know they also say not to go by the lines inside the test but day 24 is such a dark dark line compared to the others I feel that was my peak 😂xxx

Even better (cheaper) I buy mine on Amazon - really cheap ones, they all come from the same Chinese factory anyway and totally work. I discussed this with my Fertility doctor and he said to just use the cheap ones! Xx

Clear blue told me to disregard after day 5 and reset the test by leaving it 48 hours because I had 11 days of flashing but had missed my peak so the machine willContinue to flash even after you have OVD. Stop testing this month, they cost a bomb too!!

And as for not looking at the lines, the first thing I would do is rag it out the machine then spend a good hour sat on the loo scrutinising them 🤣🤣

I used those ones and some months I would flash for 3-4 days, others only 1 and others straight to peak fertility. I found it all very confusing! I do have PCO (though apparently not PCOS) which could cause my hormones to be a bit funny so I put it down to that but to be honest I think there’d be less stress just going for the ones that show ovulation or not. Good luck!

I used those and always have flashing for a few days before my still so preserve hun it hopefully will happen soon. I used to test mid day too as mine always came in the early afternoon. Have fun sure will happen soon ☺️x

Thanks so much I’ve been testing around midday too as well as morning to see if it changes! If for any reason I couldn’t do Monday id do evening but still flashy face! Baby dancing like crazy so hopefully this does the trick 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼! Thankyou so much☺️Xx
