So had another pink bleed last night me thinking it’s the start of me miscarrying which suppose is good it’ll be over before xmas. We had a hospital appointment this morning for my 3rd lot of bloods to be tested for hcg levels. They had risen again so they’re suspecting ectopic or something 17500 to 23000 so had another scan taking a good hard look about. So they find what they think is a yolk sac nothing is mentioned about the unusual shaped empty sac they saw on Friday! So we’re confused 🤷🏻♀️ 🤷♂️ supposed to be 9w but this little sac is small so I’m guessing 5w. We have to go back in 2 weeks on New Year’s Day to find out if anything has come of this. Not getting our hopes up but it’s not the outcome we were expecting today!

Could it be that you got pregnant again in between the abnormal sac degrading and this one ?? Could it be twins ??
Sounds so strange but I'm glad it's not an ectopic and hopefully there's a miracle Ib there somewhere - fingers crossed for you xxx

I know that’s what we were thinking how can this even happen? Yes I’m pleased it’s not ectopic whatever the outcome is
No it was natural, I’m just really confused as she showed us the abnormal sac on Friday but this time it looked little and round I don’t even think it’s the same sac could that be possible? To have two to grow at different times like I ovulated again when pregnant already? The abnormal sac was a lot bigger than this little sac.

You wouldn't ovulate again whilst pregnant .... But you may have ovulated quickly after a missed miscarriage.
Possibly the abnormal sac is the missed MC

Without wanting to get your hopes up in any way..... my friend went into hospital in immense pain, turns out she had an ectopic however in the womb was a sac 4wks behind the one that was in the tube.... the doctors all said it was a 1 in 1M chance of this happening but it can happen.... also with the pink bleed, I bled from 5wks right through to 14wks (Had about 6 scans in this time) and I'm now 26w4d ..... try not to worry too much cos if your pregnancy is to continue stress is the worst thing for you.... keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

Hi Ive been googling trying to find similar situtations on what or how. For sure its not ectopic which is good news I just dont get the odd shape sac was it even there? has it been absorbed is the bleeding something to do with that? The EPU nurse was sure we had a non viable pregnancy even said we didnt have to come back for a rescan in a week she was that sure. How can this little yolk sac be weeks behind its all a mystery Im intrigued to know. Im not stressed the worse thing that could happen is we miscarry which we were already told we would so its not a major shock if we do pretty much used to hearing bad news now. Interesting to know about your friend did she carry to full term? The bleeding isnt the same as when I have miscarried in the past its just when wiping and it stops and goes brown. It'll be my luck ill miscarry on xmas day and spoil it for everyone!

Unfortunately because of the trauma of her tube bursting she lost the other one too....
Like I said with me I bled and I'm on my way to the finish line.... it would make sense that your body would get rid of anything that shouldn't be there if there is another pregnancy growing I would say your bleed is the non viable..... I'm keeping everything crossed you get your happy ending xx

I was also think because the hcg aren’t doubling could this have been a twin and it’s super slow developing and will burn out and mc. I must ask next time I’m there.

Also I’d been taking DHEA ubiquinol pqq royal jelly maca and other vits the 3mths prior I’m wondering if they could have affected eggs somehow 😬
I really have no idea I thought I would have to pass the old pregnancy first to ovulate again, maybe it was twins god knows but I’m happy we still have a running chance even if it doesn’t work out.
Still no answers then? I bet you don't know what to think hon, how confusing. Next scans you need to photograph or record them on your phone - at least then you'll be able to make comparisons, although that doesn't help much now, I know!!

They seem to think it could be a viable pregnancy wishing us luck and fingers crossed but after being told we were Miscarrying on Friday were still abit ok hopefully but we’ll not get our hopes up.

Thank you in the end of the day if we miscarry we are prepared this just means we’re still in the running it’s not over yet sort of second chance. We will know better in 2w I don’t mind the wait it’s over xmas have a lot of distraction.

Bleeding again quite abit last night 😳 no pain my theory is the abnormal sac is trying to get out or breakdown and this is the bleeding hopefully the other sac isn’t affected urgh 10 days to go was going to ring EPU but I don’t think they’d scan me anyway prob best to just wait.

Do you know how far long you potentially are with the other sac? If it was visible I'm.guessing 6weeks plus
If this bleed is heavier and different to the bleeding you've been having (especially if red rather than dark blood) I would probably ring EPU and explain the situation
They can call you in if they can scan you. Otherwise call your clinic? I don't know what they could do to intervene but worth asking to be sure
Otherwise I think you are right to stay as calm as you can. You're so brave xx

I looked up yolk sac and it around 5w it took them a while it’s so small its like a sesame seed. We had had gentle sex 😬 then a lot of red blood but then stopped straight after just a bit pink this morning. I’m not in the middle of a mc I’ve no cramping and my other two when it started was continuous bleeding even from light so it does feel different to that at the min. See how it goes today.

Well we haven’t had loads since 2ww nov I just didn’t fancy it and we both actually enjoyed the break lol been rampant for 18mth ttc and then bleeding on and off he’s definitely put off lol

Because I never ovulated naturally we never bothered TTC on a schedule so thankfully we were spared that pressure.
Now I'm getting all kinds of weird symptoms and massive chills so even I don't want to take any extra risks.

Where are you at, are you doing ivf? We probably shouldn’t have done it tbh I think will wait now til after the scan to find out what’s going on.
