This afternoon I had a FET of our only frozen embryo. It has been a natural FET so no meds not even pessaries my usual consultant said. I am feeling a lot more positive and relaxed this time round I had a course of acupuncture which has helped me relax. Today it was a different consultant to my usual one who did the transfer and he suggested using pessaries again as I bled 8dpt last time and I'm kind of glad really as I was scared of not using anything after last time.
I felt quite poorly last time and was very bloated when I had transfer but this time it feels so much better and the embryo was a slight better quality (5BB) so I am praying and hoping this little one sticks around.
It has been a tough couple of weeks as my hubby is a type 1 diabetic and his sugar levels havs been off resulting in a paramedic visit in the early hours of the morming and a terrible grumpy mood which he doesn't seem to be able to shift so I have felt quite unsupported lately but I am determined to stay positive and take it as easy as I can with work and having 3 horses to look after it will be more difficult this time with it being the winter months and also because I don't have any help as a lady that used to help me the horses has left but I'm drafting in hubby to do the lifting and hard labour (much to his disgust)!!
Just chilling watching Friends as it always makes me laugh ๐ xx

Things are taking their time a bit this time round - still downregging and itโs been over 3 weeks! AF was late so lining is still too thick but hoping I can start the HRT pills next week and then book in for transfer. Hereโs to a great Christmas for us both xxx
Masses of luck! know what you mean about the horses, I only have one now but used to have a couple. Had to retire mine and she is now in foal! Even she can get pregnant and I can't haha. Take it steady and no heavy lifting or riding my clinic said xx
Thank you hope your next round is successful. Horses are definitely having some time off and I can't see them complaining about that !!! Will definitely be getting hubby to do the heavy stuff and I can still do some things as hear light exercise is good it'll be tough but I'm determined to make in work hope your mare foals ok xxx
I was just reading the other day about how studies are now showing results are better transferring frozen after body has settled down from all the stimulation as opposed to fresh right after egg collection.
Good luck & even if hubby isnโt being too supportive, those horses will give you love & comfort as most animals do ๐
Thank you for the positive reply I had also read that and hoping it's true in my case. My horses and dogs are always there for me I wouldn't know what I would do without them ๐ด๐๐ถ
Very best of luck to you for the 2ww. Hoping your husbandโs blood sugars have settled and heโs feeling better too. Definitely leave the lifting to him if heโs up to it xx
Thank you he seems a lot better today and was a great help with the horses this morning I think his mood was partly down to be nervous about yesterday he doesn't do talking about his feelings xx
I had my FET on Wednesday so I too am in the 2ww! Like you this is our only frozen embryo. Feeling good so far, trying to keep mind occupied whilst finding the balance to also rest. Good luck to you xx
