So I had my blood test and it’s confirmed that we’re not pregnant. We’re shattered but I wasn’t too hopeful considering the stress I’ve been under for the last month.
My OH’s surgery went okay. It was an incredibly long morning waiting for a call from the surgeons, especially when it went for nearly 6 hours! He’s in a bit of pain and rundown and I’ve just found out he needs a blood transfusion tonight :(.
The clinic called this afternoon and said that our doctor is happy for us to try again this period, as in a few days. We’ve decided to wait until OH is Home and recovering with me so we can do this second round together. I have to wait to hear back from donor support to see if we can still use the same donor as it will be out of the 6 week time frame, we’re thinking of waiting till Jan so he a bit better and after Xmas and new year.

Sorry to hear that you got a BFN, you've been through so much the last few weeks! Glad to hear that hubby is out the other side now and hopefully after his transfusion he will feel a bit better again. Best of luck for his recovery and hopefully you'll be ready to fight again in Jan. Hugsxxx

I think having time away from treatment is good idea & enjoying Christmas together. Christmas is stressful anyway you wouldn’t want to have treatment then, well I wouldn’t ! Also as you say hubby should be better by then 🙂 A new year a new start for you both & make 2019 your year ✨✨✨❤️ xizo
I agree. I think it’s best to wait until after Christmas and just try and enjoy that time together whilst OH is recovering. Hopefully he will be able to come home soon. 4 weeks already in hospital is way too long.
I was also kind of shocked when the clinic was like you can try again when your period starts in the next few days.
You poor thing, have been through so much. Sorry to hear of your BFN and of your hubby's health. You are lucky to have each other, im sure you are each other's rocks.
Once the transfusion is over with and your OH is at home with you....you can spend quality time together and start afresh in the new year. Good luck to you both and lots of positive vibes coming your way together with prayers for good health, happiness and a BFP for the new year (god willing) 🤗😘

So sorry to hear this, take some time to adjust. However I am really pleased to hear the hubby is through the worst of it and will hopefully start feeling heaps better and you can both go onwards and upwards from here x
Aww I’m so sorry to read this, not only for you coming to terms with you results, but also for the stress you will have been under with your OH’s op.
I can really relate to this as had to go through several rounds and my hubby be admitted to hospital during the 2ww due to Crohn’s disease, it makes a stressful situation any so much harder.
My hubby is currently now awaiting a call for a liver transplant and I know this will time whilst I’ll be in a 2ww.
Sending lots of love to you both, as much as your hubby will need time to recover, but so will you, if friends and family offer to help please take them up on it and don’t blame your situation for what’s happened, it’s easy to do so, but will only make you feel worse xx
I am so so sorry to hear about your bfn and at the same time really relieved to read that your husband has finally had his operation and you expect him home soon. So much better that you will be able to spend the festive period together convalesing and can then start in a much stronger place in the new year.
Sorry for your bfn. You did your best. You should be proud of how you’ve handled everything in the last month. I hope your OH recovers quickly and gets back home soon where he belongs.. then you can both relax and enjoy Christmas, overindulge a bit, let your hair down and start afresh in the new year xx
