Cancelled treatment 🤷🏼‍♀️ is it time to have the hysteroscopy?!

So I got a new job this week at a wonderful little private secondary school, and it feels such a relief to be doing something for me again, and getting back to a job I once loved, but grew to hate through frustration (of the state sector) but also immense sadness during my IVF.

I had a scratch booked for next week, and treatment should have started at the end of the month, but we decided to postpone it as I start work in a couple of weeks, and thought I just couldn’t handle is again, it’s broken me 😞

I was sent a date for my hysteroscopy in December, and I wasn’t going to have it as I’d already had the tests from my private biopsy, but now I’m wondering whether to have it now as I have the time?

Sorry long post, any thoughts much appreciated!!

Xxxx

Personally I would have the hysteroscopy. That way you can be certain there are no abnormalities to prevent implantation. I’m sure everything is fine, but to hear that would give you reassurance.

Sorry to you are postponing the treatment, but maybe it’s worked out for the best. That way you can have a hysteroscopy & get Christmas over with & you have your new job to think about. I think having treatment near Christmas time would be pretty stressful! And you can unwind & relax before starting treatment 🙂

A new year a new fresh start 😘 xoxo

If it all fits in with your time lines, personally I'd go for it. You've nothing to lose and it may rule out or find any other issues before you transfer again. Good luck with your decision.xx

Sorry that you had to cancel but try to go with the flow and not stress about it. 2-3 months won’t make much of a difference. New year might bring new, good energies. Best wishes xxx

I would have the hysteroscopy as the opportunity seems to have presented itself. Then as the others have said start treatment renewed into the new year after a couple months break from it. Good luck in your new job - your sound very much ready to go! xx

Hiya, yes I would probably go for the hysteroscopy too... my

NHS consultant also did an endo scratch for me at the same time but we didn’t end up doing ivf for the following cycle anyway. Usually there is a 6 week wait after Tx before u do ivf again so do factor that in also x

Oh I didn’t realise there was a wait afterwards, do you know why that is? Xx

Oh sorry- I was thinking about the wait after laparoscopy. Any surgery and there is 6 week wait.

Hysteroscopy is fine- no wait x

😂😂

If you have the time then just do it, see if they’ll do a biopsy at the same time and that can count as a scratch in case you do decide to go again.

Congratulations on the new job, it sounds perfect x

Thank you so much! They have offered a biopsy, but I think I’ll wait because we might leave treatment until around March, really want to enjoy the job for a few months and pretend to be normal!! 😂😂 how are you lovely? XX

I’m good thank you. Definitely think putting off treatment till you get settled in new job sounds wise xx

I had one previously and itbhave is peace of mind. You need to do what makes you feel happier. It’s good your thinking to delay your treatment because as we all know ivf is bloody hard, emotionally and physically.

Take care my lovely xxxxx
