Implantation wander 🤔

Morning ladies,

I had transfer last Thursday and I'm having 2 weeks off from work, I still wander how many days should I give for the implantation because I started getting bored? Doing nothing is really boring however I don't want to risk it.

Thanks X

Hi, my clinic told me to pretty much carry on as normal straight away without overdoing it. I've been going for little walks in my local park since the day after my transfer last week, feels good to get the blood flowing a bit and stops me from going crazy at home 😂 I know it feels kind of precarious before implantation but I don't think it can fall out! Hope you're doing ok xx

I didn’t have IVF but just carried on as normal during my 2WW, just avoided heavy lifting & got a BFP. Some light exercise is good & can encourage blood flow to the uterus. My midwife said it’s safe to go on walks, cycling, swimming & pregnancy yoga. And encourage pregnant ladies to exercise ( I know you don’t know if you are but right now you are until proven otherwise) It’s nothing too strenuous.

I really believe if an embryo is right there is very little you can do to decrease your chances of conception, but that’s probably easier for me to say having not had ivf ( had a few surgeries to treat endometriosis)

Wishing you the best & hope you get good news xoxo 😘

I rested for 2 days(literally did the minimum) then just acted normal for the rest of the time, just didn't pick things up, I got my positive 5dp5dt and just had a scan at 8weeks 2 days and all is fine xxxx

I was also told to rest for 2 days then I could move around but not do too much. X

Yeah I think it's best to rest and give the embryo the best chance at least first few days xxxx

Thanks a lot

Me too it's a 5 day transfer , after telling me your experience it's becoming more tempting to test early. X

I am in my 2ww as well (also no IVF) and I am kind of asking myself the same (have never been pregnant), but I totally think that you should continue your life as normal as possible. There are so many women out there not even knowing that they are pregant, so they dont change their behaviour. I am usually doing a lot of exercise (kind of heavy), I have decided not doing it in my 2ww, but I am getting bored and anxious, so I started doing some gentle yoga at home and going for long walks just to distracct myself a bit. Just sitting at home would drive me mad!

Good luck :)

I took it easy for a couple of days but have taken myself off for daily walks, nothing strenuous but the fresh air feels good for my mind and activity good for blood flow. I’ve done very little lifting to prevent straining but I’ve felt really good with these walks. This was my third round and realise now that you need to do whatever makes you feel calm and happy as you can drive yourself mad otherwise! The embryo is well cushioned regardless xx
