Sorry I need to scream... my lining is so bloody lazy, day 11 today, scan shows 6.4 mm, not quite trilaminar... I am already on a relatively high dosage of estradiol and it scares me A LOT to have to take estradiol for much longer, or even to increase the dosage, I am so worried about risks, that's the most stressful thing in this process for me. Anyway, staying on same dosage now and scanning again next week. I counted how many scans I have had since starting IVF one year ago... it makes me cry: 25 scans in 12 months :,-( (better I do not count how much that has cost us). And all f this for... one transfer, ONE (bfn, obviously). Sorry ladies but I am so frustrated... I need to let this out! AAAggh I really want to give up, I want my life back!! Hubby and I were joking today that I could line up all the pictures of my lining to line the wall ahahah :'-(
Ooh no, ivf is such a journey. I’m also having trouble with my lining at the moment and desperately trying any natural remedies to thicken this before Tuesday or else I think my cycle will get cancelled as I have already had my dosage put up.
My lining went from 6.8 to 6.9 in a matter of 5 days 😫

Hello there, how are you doing? Just wanted to say, my lining got finally thicker today, 8.5 mm!! Never been so thick in one year, I cannot believe it. I wonder what made the difference... it's day 15 of cycle and estradiol today, and I have been inserting Estrofem pills vaginally. Maybe that made a difference? I also took warm bath, used hot water bottle too, did yoga at home every day the last 4 days. Could it have helped? No idea... but just want to let you know, in case it might give you some ideas. I hope things are better for you.. sending all the luck I can!! xx
Ah yes hopefully the heat will help. I understand the nervousness... I must say in my case the results were always surprising, whether for the better or the worse. So I just tried to take it very casually, but it's not easy. I really hope for the best, let me know!! My transfer is Sunday... gosh! Lots of good luck to you xxx
My cycles are sooo messed up but yesterday was 18 days after my period finished. This probably doesn’t help at all though I’m afraid because I have pcos and have been months and months without periods xx
Ah yes ok, I see... well the hormonal therapy messed me up too so I stopped having regular periods this summer. My last "period" was just the withdrawal bleeding from stopping taking hormones (progesterone in particular) after the bfn. But I was told to start taking estradiol again from day 1 of the "period". I had a scan on day 11, and then on day 15. Sounds difficult with pcos... another difficulty to deal with. But then it's really good news about the forthcoming transfer! xx
What dosage of oestrogen did you take? I have just been on 4mg three times a day orally and 2mg three times a day vaginally (18mg daily total!) but lining only reached 7.3mm on day 16 today. We have abandoned cycle as need minimum 8mm. Just need some advice for next time.

So near but so far away! It really does get you down but looks like you're on your way! What level of estradiol are you on? Maybe putting it up just slightly would make all the difference!! Hang on in there.xx
I am on 1,5 mg in patches + 6 mg in pills a day... don't really want to go up. Dr says, if I can put up with it, add one 2 mg pill in the evening. But already nausea and sore boobs for several days, I am scared of taking all this stuff. Plus it's not obvious to me that it helps that much. I got to similar thickness with a lower dosage a while ago. Anyway... I have another scan on Monday, we shall see if anything has moved. Thanks for your words! And good luck to you! xx
Oh damn, I didnt get much side effects with mine....I think I was on 12mg last time and one previous of 16mg but Ive never had the patches! Could you even take another one before bed? Try soaking in some warm baths and a hot water bottle on your tummy, if you havent already. Hope you see an improvement on Monday! Thank you!xx

It's grown today... 8.5m!! OMG it's the thickest I have ever had!! Maybe it was the hot water bottle? I also took a hot bath when changing the patches! Waiting to hear from the clinic what we are supposed to do now... I am abroad for work but can fly to CZ from here. Sooo happy!!! Sorry I just thought I would pass on some good news rather than a rant! How are things with you? I hope good... xxx
aww vanno, I too suffer with thin lining at it drives me mad. I really hope it thickens soon for you.
I found doing a semi Medicated cycle and letting by body ovulate naturally produced a thicker lining with just a few oestrogen tablets every day from day 8 of cycle, I just don’t respond at all to a fully medicated cycle xx
Yes I tried going non medicated and the situation was promising, but then I stopped having my period, grr. So back to the bloody hormones. Actually, it worked this time... very sore boobs but at least not for nothing, I am having the transfer on Sunday. After that only 1 blastocyst left, and either I get pregnant or not, I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully will get at the end unscathed. Good luck to you for your hysteroscopy! xx
