Contraceptive pill- possible side effects?

Hi all,

I have been on the pill to regulate my cycle for my FET in December. I had to start 2 months early as my latest period was quite late so it was suggested I started taking it for two months. I started taking it about a week ago- the first few days had bad headaches then this has subsided but in the last couple of days has felt that it has affected my mood. I’m feeling emotional, I have-really and tension in my neck and shoulders and generally don’t feel as happy as I have been. Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms?

Hi londonrc. These pills tend to work on the pituitary gland in the brain, with side effects of headache, mood swings an all the PMT type symptoms. Hopefully it will settle and not continue. Not toooo long until FET. Good luck with it all. Diane

Thank you Diane for your swift reply- it’s kind of good to know it’s not just me going crazy - I thought it might be the case but thank you for confirming this.
