Long time no post.

[Maikai]

Well folks, for those of us that have known each other a while I thought it time for a wee update. My frostie from my July transfer is hanging on!!! Currently 18+5 with a lil girl.

The anxiety never goes away- constantly worried something is wrong and turn 39 tomorrow!! Have a 1 in 5235 chance of downs and an anomaly scan (20wk) booked for nov 1.

So yeah!!! So far so sticky!!

Keep positive people. I went through hell to get here.

Wonderful news. I found my worry did stop once i got past the 20 week scan. I had a harmony test so that was a relief from 10 weeks. The way i thought of it was, if something does come back it doesn't change anything.

I also felt better once the kicks started.

I think at 24 weeks extreme nesting happened and i truly believed it was going to happen and realised i had nothing ready!

Thanks for your reply. I think because I haven’t felt any kicks yet I’m getting s bit nervous but my midwife said that’s pretty normal for a first pregnancy to not feel kicks until nearer 24 weeks so I’m trying not to read too much in to it. It’s all just so new and scary. I think because my miscarriage last year was a missed miscarriage I have this fear that something has gone wrong and I don’t know - but I know that’s silly. There’s no bleeding and no cramps other than wretched constipation haha oh well - every day is a school day!

Kicks it depends where the placenta is. Mine was at the back so alot of moving of the belly and felt them early on. You've probably had them but can't feel them. Will be coming on soon.

Constipation, i used the squatty potty. Or you can get a few toilet rolls under your feet to the same effect. Really helps getting into the squat position more.

Thanks so much. At least when I reach 24 if it decides to come out I know it has a chance to survive.... only 6 weeks from there!
