I haven’t posted on here for a while, as I was taking a break.

Update: all my recurrant miscarriage tests came back clear, that was great news!

Ive just got my bfp and I should be 5w 1day from LMP, last night I had very sharp pains in my cervix area which were very crippling. I wondered if it could be the progesterone pessaries and hopefully not the dreaded M.

I think it’s safe to say anxiety has kicked in. The EPAU have offered me an early scan at 6 weeks because of my previous losses and ectopic. I just feel like I’m in limbo till then 😦

Congratulations. I think you can get random cramps at this time. Things snuggling in and bodily parts moving about into pregnancy position. Keeping everything crossed for you. The anxiety and waiting fuel each other. Is there anything you can do that lets your mind escape for a wee while? Xc

Oh, and huge congratulations xxx

Thank you for your reply. Yes I’m trying really hard to keep myself busy, whilst trying no to do anything too strenuous. Hopefully it’ll ease and it’s just things moving like you said.

Massive congratulations Hun. I understand the anxiety after miscarriages... I really struggled with it especially in the earlier weeks. Wishing you a happy & healthy pregnancy. X

Thank you! I’m trying to think positive xx

Congratulations on your bfp!

I’m sorry to hear about your previous miscarriages, and so it’s completely normal to feel anxious and read into your body. I’d reiterate Camillage in saying our bodies do give us funny pains and cramps all part and parcel of this journey and not necessarily all bad.

Do some nice things for you and try to relax. Thinking of you xx

Thank you for your kind words xx

Congratulations on your positive. Try relax if you can. I was exactly same as you - two m/c in a row and currently 35 +2 now. I won't lie I've went through most of this pregnancy expecting the worst. I had a bleed early on aswell. It's really hard but try relax if you can. Hopefully your scan will reassure you. Good luck x x

Thank you for your message. Yes, I’m hoping the scan will bring good news x

Hi can I ask what tests they do for recurring miscarriages I’ve had 2.

in reply to

Hi, I think it depends on your history hun. I had my bloods checked for blood clotting disorders etc and also genetics, but I do have 2 children already.

X

I’ve been getting lots of cramps and feel the same as you in terms of anxiety after having two previous losses. Have you had any bleeding with them at all?

I think cramps can be quite common, don’t give up hope until you have a scan. There’s no real way of knowing until then. Part of me doesn’t expect there to be a baby there now either but I know that’s just the anxiety again!

Wishing you lots of luck, if you ever want to talk please message me. Xx

Thank you Hun, that’s so kind.

You’re definitely right, I need to keep a positive mind and then hopefully it’ll be good news at the scan. Luckily no bleeding just the cramps.

Wishing you a healthy pregnancy also.xxx

I have 2 kids too I’m just starting getting tests getting 18 day blood for progesterone this cycle. I don’t know what else to ask for especially if it comes back normal. I had one on day 21 but came back abnormal but we think it was done too late.

Hi, I don’t know sorry, I was offered the testing after my 3rd loss and at the app it was the gynaecologist who said what she’d be testing me for. Sorry I can’t help further x
