Hey folks I start stimming on wed with menopur for 12 days, anyone in and around the same stage? Also this is my 3rd fresh cycle, but first with menopur and I'm on 350iu which they tell me is the highest dosage, anything iv read online ( which b I know i shouldnt do) seems like there a low quanity of eggs retrieved than gonal f/bemfola. I am a slow responder, 3 mature eggs first cycle, 2nd 6 mature.

Hi, I am at a similar stage. I have my baseline scan on Tuesday and start stims either Tuesday or Thursday. I’m going on Ovaleap. I’m also on my 3rd fresh cycle and have had Menopur for both cycles 1 and 2. I have started at a new clinic who over the higher doses and different drug options. My previous clinic only offered Menopur. So hoping this change is what I need. I’m also slow, only 2 mature eggs each cycle. And have only got to day 3 on both. How are you getting on? Hi ya thanks for the reply, we basically are at very similar stages then, I have been down regulating on synarel for 3 weeks now, such a long process. What iu of menopur were u on previously and how many mature eggs did u get. I really much preferred they had have kept me on bemfola as at least I got 6 mature, I cud get less or none on menopur. What drug are u stimming with this cycle? I'm much more anxious this cycle, I suppose time is ticking an I won't b doing many more cycles.

Hi, I’m on Ovaleap this time. I’d have to check the strengths of the Menopur last time. I think the strongest was 4 powders on cycle 2. I think my clinic now goes up to 6 powders. We’re on our 3rd NHS cycle and will be private after this. Also I’m nearly 40 so time not on our side. It does feel more pressured. Xx

Iv just gone through this, 2nd cycle. Had two embreyos put back in on saturday as none of them stood out strong and hadnt changed to blastocyst so really worried now x

Hi freckles good luck in ur 2ww, my first cycle I had 2 day 3 put back a 6 cell and 7 cell ( not top quality) I did get a bro but had a cp. So u nvr know

Hiya sorry im new to this , what does Cp mean. Mine was a 5 day transfer, one was nearly a blasto but know outshell and the other wasnt at that stage. They werent upto the clinics standards on a day 5 so really sickened me. My first ivf i did have a blastocyst and never worked aswell. So not having much luck xxx

Sorry a chemical pregnancy so positive test but bled 3 days later, like an early miscarriage. I just hope I get embryos to transfer this time x

Aww really. Im sure u will. Is this ur 3rd cycle? I was put on a high dose to. My left side is not working due to a endrometiois cyst effecting it. so i got 6 follicules and 6 eggs but only 2 made it this time. When are u there for ur follicule scan xxxx

So this is my 3rd fresh cycle, both previous cycles i had cp and embryos to freeze. So I start stimm on wed on highest dosage then first scan on Sunday. I hope I do just worried as iv not used this drug before an wen u know u got eggs with other drug I was reluctant to change but hey I'm not the professional so I gotta trust them lol that was brilliant 6 eggs front just one side well done!! I got 6 from both how are u finding the 2ww. Are u at work or off relaxing?

Aww really. Im sure they must no u might be better with a different drug. I cant stop thinking about it. Iv not done well with pesseries, so iv took today off but back in tomorrow i find out next thursday but im thinking about taking a test before. I hope u do well. Im sure u will. Hi I started stimming with bemfola on Saturday and likely to be going for about 10 days. This is my 5th fresh cycle.

I had menopur last cycle and had 3 mature eggs collected which is good for me as also a poor responder. Unfortunately none fertilised. Had no eggs collected 1st cycle on gonal f and 1 egg collected 3rd cycle with bemfola. Trying me back on bemfola but for longer to hopefully get an actual embryo to work with!

Hey I really rate bemfola what iuare u stimming on? I was on 300 increased midway to 375 and I got 6 mature eggs, 3 fertilsed..... so fingers crossed it is the one for u. What strength of menopur were u on wen u got 3 eggs?

I'm on 150 of bemfola. I'm on a natural modified/mild IVF package so drug doses are lower. I was on 150 menopur. Come on, we can do this!! X

Hi, I too am on my third fresh cycle, due to start stimms in 10 days time and will be taking a combination of gonal f and menopur at the max dose of 375iu (previously only used gonal f), due to low AMH levels. You certainly aren't alone. Wishing you all the best with this cycle x

Hi ya thanks for ur reply, good luck with ur cycle, did u get many eggs previously on gonal f? Is this ur first using menopur aswell then, I Think I'm just nervous at something new, easier to stick with what I know in the previous cycles, although they didn't work!!

Yes, I was quite happy on the gonal f. Can't remember the exact figures but I think I got around 8 or 9 each time, resulting in four embryos. However because of my low AMH, my consultant was concerned that my body would be used to it, and so I would need something new to keep the numbers up. The menopur scares me a little as there is more preparation needed than with the gonal f pen, but I'm sure I will get the hang of it. All the best xx

Hey I’m on my second day of Menopur! This is my first cycle, on 150, need to go back on Friday to have this reviewed as a dosage. I’ve not been on anything else before so who knows. Must say been having quite stinging headaches from the menopur. Best of luck with your cycle!

Hello! Yeah good, app was fine on Friday and they kept me on the same dose, went back for a scan today and they’ve given me my booster and instructions to take it tomorrow night for surgery on Wednesday! They seemed happy with the follicles that they found but my left ovary doesn’t seem to have responded as there are only 3 10mm follicles on the left but 6 16/17/18mm on the right. They said it wasn’t unusual and don’t seem concerned. How is it going for you? How are the stims?

Ah I don't think it's looking great I started stimms on wed on 375 iu of menopur which is already high as u can imagine. Scan on Sunday they just didnt say much but they were checking bloods aswell. My blood must have indicated not much growth as I was told today to increase to 450, which is the max. The nurse said it's only day 5 and its early days yet, I'm back for a scan on wed. Sounds fab u should get a nice wee amount of eggs there for ec. Do u b sedated for ec?

They didn’t scan me before today (day 8) so day 5 probably is a little early for them to tell, hang on in there, a dose that big must be doing something!

Yes they plan to sedate me for the surgery, I’m pretty nervous, never had any kind of medical procedure before so no idea what to expect!
