Myomectomy complete

Yesterday I finally had my open myo to remove fibroid ! Surgery went well, it was the size of a mans fist the consultant said so bigger than they thought. It was at the back of my womb but reaching around too the front, they applied a soloution to prevent my womb fusing to my bladder and bowel as the fibroid is at the back and scar tissue can cause things to stick together. Apparently it’s quite common. :/ has anyone heard of this happening ! X

No experience of fibroids but I am pleased to hear your surgery went well. my endo grew on my uterus ligament & affected fertility so I’d imagine your fibroid would be being there. Im sure it being removed will definitely help you get your BFP. 👌🏻Right now rest up you’ve had pretty major surgery. Wishing you a good recovery xoxo

Wow that's one big fibroid!😱 Glad to hear it all went well. I have heard of this but no experience myself. Sounds like you're in good hands and they are doing what they can to prevent this from happening. Hope your recovery goes well!!xx
