Matthew update - 2 weeks old

Matthew is doing really well and is now two weeks old! He is still in NICU but has been off breathing support since day 2 and is in his incubator to keep him warm until he can put on enough weight to maintain his own body temperature. He has a cannula delivering sugars to help maintain his blood sugar levels and also has a nasogastric tube feeding him breast milk until he can learn how to breast feed. He's a little trooper and now weighs 2lb 1oz! Keep believing people! This is the twin they said may die in the womb - I don't bloody think so! NICU life is emotional but I can now see light at the end of the tunnel!

I knew it from when you first posted on my post. These medics do get it wrong sometimes I'm so bloody happy they got this little man wrong to the T. Proper little fighter bless him.
