So after the success of yesterday’s post I’m going to keep this going for a week (at least) and see if we all carry on feeling the benefit of each other’s stories!
I know there are some extremely difficult times through our journeys and obviously I can’t change that but the ongoing burden of infertility can really get us down so just to be reminded of some nice things is so lovely. I have genuinely been looking forward to reading more stories all day!
So, today my husband and I got some great news about the valuation on the house we’ve been buying, it’s been such a worry for months now so finally we’ve been offered a mortgage and can get settled into our new place. (Long story but today is the moment we’ve been waiting for for moths)
Plus I got to work and realised my shift finished an hour earlier than I thought, then the sun came out!!

Fab news about your house! Positive moment today was taking a group for P.E (I work at a school) which I don't normally do and really enjoyed! and shopping and giggling with my husband who was trying to sneak magnums into the trolley. Little things I know but helped me to get through the day! Love this idea! X
I had my follow up appointment this afternoon and I didn’t cry! I had a practical and level head on. This is a huge thing for me. I don’t think I’ve ever had a follow up where I didn’t get emotional. Feeling proud of my strength this time around.
Another one; af has finished! I’m so looking forward to getting intimate with my Hubby tonight.. because it’s been too long! 😉 🤭😳 We’ve missed each other xx
Love this idea- my “positive vibes only” t shirt arrived which I ordered on Etsy two weeks ago and forgot about! Couldn’t be more timely and I’m wearing it now!
NIce one in the house.. I read E_05 post about EE viability scan and know the pain o therapy have gone through and seeing their good news Isco a huge positive for me😀i worked from home today so met a pal and her dog with my fur baby for a nice walk..also just back from fab class YOga class so feeling all smug 😂xxx
yikes sorry for typos there😂hope you got the gist of message 😁I am just keeping on keeping on...booked consultation with private gynaecologist re: getting a colposcopy done..jeez that not cheap..I am in wrong job 😂god knows how much the colposcopy will be 😯anyhoo out acs consultant emailed saying she wants to call me today so not sure what that's about maybe all my pleading to go ahead with last fet has worked despite these smear results now that would be my positive for today 😁xxx
Great news about the house!! Well today I made a positive start on my diet, I’m calling it a new way of living, everything in moderation, with a few treats along the way!! Xx
Not a important one but made me happy ☺had a roast dinner yesterday and so had yummy roast chicken sandwiches today 😋😋,spent all morning looking forward to them 😂good news about your house,these things are always very stressful 🙁xo
This morning i woke up to my 18mnth old trying to put a cyclogest wrapper into his nappy... coincidence i think not! Made me laugh like i havent laughed in days : )

Mine today...
- I had half an hour of uninterrupted listening to my audio book driving to a meeting which was lovely
- I had a cup of tea (ginger as I’m so 🤢) and chat with a lovely friend
- Hubby and I went to Pets @ Home to start buying things for our new little Lab puppy we’re picking up in 2wks 🐶
- I actually managed to keep down my dinner (only soup and toast) as these metformin tabs in prep for my next cycle are knocking me Sick. First night in 8 nights!
Ahh thanks, she’s champagne coloured. So in between a whitey colour and the yellowy colour. We’re going to call her Luna. I am excited but i know not as much as I could/should be. I just feel so much at the end of my tether with the IVF and all the fertility issues over the last 8 years that my excitement for anything (even a tiny little puppy! ...what is wrong with me?!). I’m hoping she’ll distract me and give me other focus/hope xxx

Brilliant news. I was on holiday yesterday. Today I am working from home and have to do an O365 reinstall - sounds boring but it gives me an excuse to sit watching box sets for a couple of hours! He he
Managed to finish editing a whole 6 pages of my book between 8 and 10 a.m. this morning while DH was sleeping. Feel I'm making a lot of progress with my work, which is always a source of happiness for me. And wonderful news about your house!
Ah congratulations on the house! My hairdresser has just presented me with an espresso martini, and I’ve booked myself a riding lesson, which I haven’t done in years! Both things I couldn’t do if I was still pregnant so hey! Xx

Omg- I just read this, and what a fab idea. Also- I feel your pain on the house buying stuff, we're also in the process of buying, which on the one hand is awesome as we're going to finally start paying our own mortgage instead of renting, but on the other- aargh IVF! Glad your sale is going OK- we've been waiting a while too, the offer was all done back in April, so we're itching to move, but there have been some dramas. Thankfully, the estate agent called to say that it's all sorted and now all the chain has to do is catch up, so we would potentially be able to move in at the end of October! yay!
My happy thing that happened today was that after a long break I started playing my accordion again, and I hadn't forgotten how (though did accidentally pinch my boob in the bellows, ow!) Whether my neighbours are as happy about this, is entirely another story... haha!
