Endometrial biopsy

So I’ve not been around very much because my father in law has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, and it’s a terrible prognosis, so this has been devastating😞 my husband wanted to go ahead with the biopsy, feeling like we are moving forward and with a no pressure distraction hopefully will be good for him, as of course he’s devastated.

Started 8mg of progynova today, cyclogest will be taken on the 23rd, then on the 28th the biopsy will be done under sedation and whisked away to Spain and France, so my womb is having a lovely holiday!😂😂

Results won’t be in for 4-5 weeks after so I’ll keep you posted on that and how we move forward if anyone will find it helpful!!

Oh and on Wednesday we are at the NHS fertility clinic to discuss our miscarriages so all moving in the right direction.

I hope everyone is getting through whatever stage you’re at xxxxx

Oh hun Im so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Just as devastating and cruel diagnosis to receive, it must be so hard on all of you especially your poor hubby....thinking of you all!

I can understand why your hubby was keen to progress, it will give him something else to focus on. Best of luck with it all and I hope your appointment on Wed goes well!xxxx

The 2ww is just hellish, but you never know, not until you’ve peed on a stick! It’s so hard, I don’t think anyone can truly understand the mania that descends on us over the 2ww!! Xxxx

Tough times, more than tough... I’m so sorry you and your hubby are having to deal with all of this heartache. I can’t even begin to image how you must be feeling 😔

I hope you get some answers from the biopsy & that you are able to focus on FIL and DH and being strong for them.

Sending you big hugs xxx

Thank you lovely 💛☺️

Do you have someone to talk to? I know you’ll want to be strong for hubby, but it’s all so much for you to take on and you need to have an outlet xx

Yes I do thank you sweets, I see a counsellor once a week anyway as I’m mad as a box of frogs! And my dad is great as we lost my mum to cancer when I was 16 and he was her carer so has a great insight. And wonderful friends, but it is really quite horrific! Annoyingly as I’ve just started this biopsy round I can’t enjoy anymore glasses of Malbec, so tea will have to do!!😂😂xx

Lovely to hear from you missus. So so sorry about your father in law. Puts things into perspective in some ways doesn’t it, very difficult to go through something like this along with fertility treatment so make sure you are both looking after yourselves.

Good luck with the tests xx

Thank you sweets, you’re always so lovely😊 just need to take one day at a time, I do need to stop eating cake that’s for sure, and I can’t blame that on the progynova yet as it’s the first day!😂😂😂xxxxx
