OHSS - help please

Hi ladies

I’ve just woken up with a swelling on my left side only - extending over my ovarian area. I’m not in pain but have drunk about a litre of water in the last half an hour but haven’t needed the loo. I don’t seem to have any other other symptoms and the out of hours doctor has just said to contact the clinic in the morning.

I’m absolutely freaking out.

Anyone had these symptoms, in particular, swelling on one side?

Hi, no I haven’t had these but I did have mild/moderate OHSS and was told to keep an eye on my water intake and the amount of urine I passed. I think you should go to a&e to be on the safe side as drinking a litre of water and not passing urine doesn’t seem right x

Thank you for your reply. I have since been to the loo quite a few times now, both urine and other, and it doesn’t hurt at all. I will definitely go to my clinic. But it is so strange as I have no symptoms other than the lump - and this can only be seen when I lie flat and because I’m quite a small build.

I’m meant to be having my egg transfer tomorrow and would be completely devastated if this affected that. It can be such a hard journey.
