I have no words to say how I'm currently feeling as it still hasn't quite sunken in. We have never been pregnant and nor had a positive test in the time we've been trying in the last few years. To have 3 positives staring back at me at 3am seems like a dream. We are 'unexplained' but for this, our 1st protocol (long) and only nhs cycle I was put on clexane 40 and a 75mg aspirin as they found I had antipholipids in my blood that can cause miscarriage and I already have antinuclear antibodies due to a kind of lupus from being over prescribed acne tablets as a teenager which then led to me developing arthritis. I think maybe either my blood or implantation was our issue as 5 out of our 8 eggs fertilised and 3 made it to 5 days but they told they wouldn't freeze the other 2 as the process is complicated yet never actually told us about the quality of the blasts. At that point on transfer day I was deflated but now I will reiterate what so many strong individuals say on here "it only takes one." I now feel very humbled and grateful our 1st try has worked with our only dot and can only appreciate the strength and determination those who go through this again and again have. Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and prayers and for keeping me positive, especially in the last 24 hours. It has taken me most of the morning to write this post as l still can't quite believe it. I hope all of you amazing people going through this get your BFPs and go on to have healthy happy babies xx

Yes it just feels crazy after being surrounded by so many pregnant people in family and friends who it happened for quickly it is finally our turn. It has been a real eye opener and I think this makes you appreciate it so much more xx
Yes I am so so cautious and careful. My sister in law tried for 3 months and she is doing everything and anything, not being particularly careful while pregnant.
I want to do what's right for me though

Well my parents and sister already know as i' m very close to them. I was very ill as a teenager and have had to go back and forth to hospital a lot for other reasons so I've been very open about it with then and they've been very supportive and helpful. Actually my mum and sister feel very educated about it now as they didn't realise how common infertility is and have now learnt the annoying phrases to avoid lol. My dad welled up when I told him xx

Aww best of luck! It feels so surreal after getting so many negative tests and AF arrive every month. Once you start,the drugs, scans, collection and transfer fly by then the tww slows right down xx

Heparin and aspirin. I took them for the last transfer but we had a bfn xx
Is heparin similar to clexane? Clexane comes in different doses so I don't know if it's worth checking your levels and see if they can tweak it? They said my fsh was slightly high too at 10.4 but i' m not surebifbthe clexane is for that. I really hope you get your BFP xx
Yes it’s similar. If I get a bfp I’ll be under a consultant haematologist at Birmingham Women’s Hospital so hopefully they’ll make sure I’m on the correct dosage ASAP. My fsh and lh are fine. I’m not sure what they do for higher levels of fsh either 🤷♀️ Thank you xx
