Endometrial Receptivity test

Hi ladies, well this seems all a bit quick since my miscarriage was all of 5 minutes ago, but my clinic offered us an appointment with a consultant who specialises in implantation failure and recurrent miscarriage so here we are. Tomorrow we will be discussing endometrial receptivity test and I just wondered if anyone had had it?

Well they take a biopsy of your endometrial lining at the time you would be implanted to see if your lining is receptive, as far as I can gather most Women’s implantation window is similar, but some are out slightly which means implantation is difficult. But there’s another test that looks at the environment in the womb as it were to see if it’s hospitable I presume?!!! And if not they can treat it with probiotics etc. This is just what I’ve found out, but I’m sure tomorrow they will shed some light. My concern is it’s going to cost a fortune! Xx

I haven't had this but have thought about it having never had a positive test. I really though thia was more about not getting pregnant rather than recurrent loses.🤔 I've seen a couple of ladies on here had it but more in the same boat as me! Good luck!xx

Yeah that’s what I thought?!?! I’m hoping they will suggest the environment test! Xx

I’ve had one as I had 3 chemical pregnancies on the spin and I was lucky to get a ‘receptive’ time frame which for me was around cycle day 19. My last clinic recommended it as they’ve seen excellent results and i’m Currently 18 weeks pregnant following this protocol. It’s only 1 tiny scratch and nowhere near as uncomfortable as an Endo scratch x

Hi Aleelilook,

I was offered this test at my Spanish clinic after a failed cycle with a 1AA donor egg - I was also unsure but i found these 2 great research papers and decided to go for it - fast forward 3 tests ( i was pre-receptive on 2 occasions and the 3rd showed I was receptive after 8 days progesterone) and I 've just got my BFP on my second cycle with DE in Spain (previous one cycle in the UK with my own old frozen unfertilised eggs not embrios) I'm convinced the test was the reason for my BFP.

Here are the links and you can decide for yourself - sending you lots of baby dust. x
