****UPDATE*****
So my hcg is at 537, as it was 327 on Wednesday they’re concerned I am having an ectopic pregnancy. I’ve got to go and have repeat bloods on Wednesday which will either confirm a miscarriage, ectopic or a miracle it may progress (although the nurse said this was highly unlikely). I’m pretty numb and terrified at the moment xxx
It says it all really, very light blood and now some cramps. I’m beside myself x x x
Can you check with your clinic/doctor?
I wish I was an expert to advise....
Hang in there I am sure some ladies on here will advise what is best to do.

Just spoke to my clinic, they’ve said if it continues to come in for a blood test on Monday. I’m on a huge amount of progesterone and blood thinners so I’m not sure there’s much they can do, just praying it was a one off 😞xx
I did bleed a tiny bit at that stage and it went away....

I’m 6 weeks and started bleeding 3 days ago, the clinic scanned me early and all was ok in again next week for another scan. They said spotting was common at this stage so hopefully you will b fine. Good luck, try and rest up xx

I had bleeding around the same time as you, was so worried as it was bright red,my clinic got me in for a blood test cos it was to early for a scan, when the results came back my hcg levels were high enough for a scan, that was around 3 weeks ago and thankfully my bleeding seems to have been a one off, hope it's the same for you xx

Oh no!!😯 Light bleeding might be ok, hopefully it will settle down! If not I would usually say to call early pregnancy but A & E will see you if it's bad honey!xxxx

Hi Aleelilook. It could just be that you need the blood thinners reducing. They are a common cause of light bleeding. Just rest when you can and hopefully the blood test will reassure you. Thinking of you. Diane xx

I had a couple of brief episodes weeks 5-6 - was either implantation or constipation! 🙈
They occurred either after some sharp twinges, or after I’d struggled at the loo - when I went back later it had always stopped. I’m sure it’s something of nothing 😘 🤞🏼 xx

Aw stay positive, so many women bleed and are still fine. I actually worry as ive not bled one bit since my bfp and I thought we should bleed a little. Fingers crossed for you xx

I had spotting (brown/pink) at 5+3 it lasted about half a day and I also had cramping and backache with it which was quite painful. I honestly thought the worst but all turned out ok.
I have no idea what caused the spotting but was advised it could be the pessaries causing irritation to the cervix - so it could possibly be this?
Hope your spotting has eased off now. Try not to worry - easier said than done I know xxx
As Amanda86 said above, I also had brown spotting caused by the pessaries - this actually happened the night before my transfer and I’m sure a couple times after my BFP - when I went for transfer the clinic checked my cervix and said no blood, the bleed had come from the irritation. So it could definitely be this in your case xx
Thank you ladies, I actually use my pessaries in the other end🙈 I think what worries me is I had bleeding with our pregnancy on round 2, and it was very much like this. We suffered a mmc, and although they say the bleeding had nothing to do with it, it just bloody scares me.
But it sounds like lots of women have it and it goes for no rhyme or reason, so I’ll try and focus on that!xxx
I had bleeding around same time which continued to 12 weeks. I was on clexane (I saw you are on blood thinners too) and they took me off this as can make bleeding worse.
Please don’t panic bleeding is not normal but very common in early pregnancy, I had lots of blood and am now 21+2 weeks pregnant xxx

Oh you poor thing, how stressful. I’ve heard many positive stories where people experience light bleeds and cramping at that stage and then all is normal. Praying that everything will be fine.xxx

I’m on Clexane too and bled for a good few days but it stopped when I was put on bedrest snd progesterone increases. Spotting then bright red blood after a short walk, all ok though and hope it’s the same for you 🙏🏼. Aspirin and Clexane is a bit unless you really need for blood conditions xxx
Thank you, glad everything is ok with you lovely, I’ve been completely lazy today and it’s seemed to have stopped (🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻) but I’ve got to go to work tomorrow and it’s a bit of a trek to the tube so I’m a bit worried about that, hopefully the clinic will take me off the clexane or aspirin, both seems excessive! Well had another bleed last night, this time bright red with terrible back ache😳 it wasn’t loads, and now it’s back to what it was🤦🏼♀️ so I cancelled work, popped to the clinic and had a blood test and now waiting for the results, sat on a bloody boiling tube! Xxx

Is that just because of the blood results? Do you gave the other signs of ectopic pregnancy like pain in your shoulder or intense cramping? Will they scan you? Sending hugs xx I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant with history of having 2 empty sacs in a row and the stress of having my scan in a week is killing me x
They will scan me at 6 weeks, it’s because my bloods haven’t increased quickly enough that is suggesting it’s a possible ectopic , so if they’ve gone down on Wednesday then it will be a miscarriage, but if it’s crept up slightly it will be ectopic 😢xxx

I have just spent the weekend going through the same as yourself and finally found out yesterday it was a misscarriage but in your case i would be positive as your levels were much higher than mine mine were only 90 which is very low compared to yours your numbers are supose to double every 48hrs my dr said if mine had been a 1000 + then he would have said defo ectopic

If its miscarriage your levels drop they would be going down not up they just look like they are doubling if they go up rediculous then there is cause for concern for ectopic that what i was told
Oh no sorry I think I’m not making sense! My consultant said as my numbers doubled at the beginning it would indicate a slow increase as ectopic, or that they have started to fall for a few days, so miscarriage, either way it’s all so unfair isn’t it xxx
I’m so sorry for you I have been through 3 ectopics and I don’t want to scare you but my bloods where similar to what you describe they need to scan you at 5+1 if it’s not an ectopic they would see sac pole and baby in the right place (prob not heartbeat that early) bloods are obv a very good induction but ectopics are so danergous they should scan you sending love xx
Oh Christ I’m so sorry, they’ve booked me in for a scan but it’s not until the 11th which seems so long to wait, I just want to get things sorted now, I can’t bare it. Did you have pain? Ive started to get pain in my lower back and my leg, but not sure if that’s a miscarriage en route? Xxxx
Yes that is quite a long way away I would push for one sooner I felt exactly the same way it’s torture not knowing with my first I had shoulder tip pain and pain on left side (ectopic was in left tube) the pain your having could be but sorry I’m not 100%. I did spot brown and red with all 3. Is this an ivf pregnancy? I have been so lucky to get nhs funded ivf and our baby girl is now 5 months xx
Yep this is round 6, second round with donor eggs, and we had a missed miscarriage on round 2 with my own eggs. I really thought this was our time, especially as we had two really good readings. Think I might call my clinic then if the pain gets worse, I’m really scared! Congratulations on your baby girl, miracles clearly can happen xxxx

Ah i see well whatever the outcome i wish you all the best as i know how torturess it is to have to wait to find out but i just hope you have had as lovely drs as i have had i myself have to go back tomorrow for more hcg test as my levels arent coming down quick enough so they may have to intervene which drags it out all the more, all i can say is yesterday i was devestated today im feeling stronger it still hurts but i have excepted the outcome now hopefully soon we will be posting positive stories on here again good luck x

I think that’s it, I feel I can’t grieve because I’m just waiting, and the prospect of surgery is not filling me with much joy, but then miscarrying naturally is also horrific, and then I suppose if it’s a normal miscarriage then why do I keep losing babies? And if it’s ectopic was it just bad luck?! Sorry to go on lovely xxx
