I’m 5dp5dt so a week to go yet! I had 14 follicles, with 12 eggs. 8 we’re fertilised by ICSI as 5 progressed over night. However only 1 made it to the end and we had none to freeze so just the 1 blastocyst put back.
Already that makes me nervous, it’s a lot of pressure on one little blast but I’m trying just to stay positive.
So far I’ve had cramps and PMS style feelings since the transfer. Today, more of a dull bellyache too. And my boobs are killing me! I’m in 800 of cyclogest so I don’t think that’s helping with my hormones.
Interested to know if anyone else is in the 2ww, or if anyone has any success stories with 1, 5 day blasto?

I’ve had cold symptoms too! But assumed it was hay fever or something. Maybe not! The cramps have calmed down a bit now but it’s more of an achy belly. Ours is Friday 15th so one more week, it’s dragging! Good luck! 🙏🏼 xx
I am the same as you!! Had the transfer on Wednesday so that makes me 2dp5dt doesn't it? But my test is to be taken on Father's Day too! I feel exhausted but that could just be after all the meds & having a toddler!! But.. do feel a little sick today.. how are you doing? Good luck to you xxx
Hey michael30, lovely to here from you. It’s my birthday today and I stupidly did a test to see what was going on and there was the faintest positive but what does it mean, end of the trigger? Or pregnancy ? 🤷♀️ stupid. So in answer to your question I’m going a bit mad in the 2ww. How about u? Good luck this time next week xx
Omg!! This sounds amazing!! Well... when was your trigger injection.. I think this sounds like positive news no? This is a frozen transfer for me so I didn't have a trigger with this round.. will you do another test before Sunday? How exciting! Thank you. Have you had any symptoms? Xx
My trigger was the 28th May. Yeah I might take another test before Sunday. No symptoms but I’m full of cold so been distracted with that. Are you testing early? Any symptoms? Xx
Surely that's too far away for it to be the trigger still... I think do another one maybe mid- week, but I think it sounds really positive!!! Are you getting excited or too scared to? What does your gut say? Oh I'm getting butterflies for you!

I see... it is horrendous with the amount of emotions we go through, the 2WW.. but we have to tell ourselves, we can only do what we can and try and relax (easier said than done, I know!! 😬) I'm the same one minute ok, then googling like mad! I'm a 5 day frozen cycle too.. how many frozens do you have and did they tell you your grade for the one or two? You have with you now? Best of luck and everything crossed xxx🤞🏻🍀
Thank you 🤗 I had 3 healthy embryos, so one on board now and two on ice. They didn’t give me a grade but told me it was 100% intact after defrosting. Still can’t believe they get defrosted 😂 x
If it is your first cycle, must be a fresh cycle? Did you have egg collection recently? And they got 3 left overall? One has been put back and you have two left that have been frozen? X
No slightly different situation, my Egg collection was in January. My transfer was Wednesday last week. I’m having PGD, which is same procedure as IVF but different time scale as after my Egg collection they then spent 4 months testing our embryos for a genetic mutation. I’ve had a 5 day frozen transfer leaving me with 2 embies on ice. It’s confusing 😂 x

So today on the tube I came over so nauseas and sick I had to get off. Hospital said probably the drugs though. So tempted to test but it won’t be accurate will it 😂 x

Hi, I’m 3dp5dt too and today my boobs have gone from sore to solid and more sore. I’m hoping that’s a good sign but am so fed up with waiting. Have to do my test next Wednesday, 6 more sleeps

Hello! Hope you are ok? I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and had a very similar story with only one day 5 blast and no frozen. I was also pretty scared knowing I only had the one chance but It really is true it only takes one! Wishing you so much luck xxx
You might have tried them already but I did some fertility visualisations and hypnotherapy found on either YouTube or Spotify to help me keep positive and believe that one could attach itself!

Good luck, wishing you all the best. I had a 5 day transfer and one put back in, that was in January and im now 23 weeks pregnant so it's great that one made it to five days so take that as a positive.
Goodluck and prayers for you and your lil embryo Sibbo84. Just stay positive (i know when i was on my 2ww i was very emotional the whole time) Try to keep yourself preoccupied on other things coz i know how the 2ww feels...
It’s so hard to keep occupied in the 2ww but everyone has been there and made it through one was or another so that helps. I have been super emotional though, that’s not fun. I cry over nothing!!! Xxx
I'm also on the dreaded 2WW... I had my transfer on weds so does that make me 2dp5dt? I never know if Day 1 is counted from the day of transfer or the day after?

Hey! Yeah you will be 2dp5dt as transfer date isn’t counted (or that’s what I’ve been told)
I rested the first couple of days then was told to go back to my normal routine so I’ve been back at work. Have you been keeping busy? When do you test?
My cramps have calmed down a lot, to a dull belly ache but I’m feeling very dizzy now and my boobs are still so sore! What have your symptoms been like if any?

🤣🤣 I know! It’s the strangest thing but we can literally talk about anything on here and it’s not weird!
To be honest my boobs have hurt the whole way through since having the injections so I think it’s just my body reacting with the hormones rather than anything else.
They said it was grade 4a I think, but that means little to me. To be honest they just said, ‘it’s good news, we have a good embryo to transfer back in...however he others are all behind’ so they kinda sugar coated the fact that we didn’t have any to freeze and didn’t say much about the embi. But that being said they did says it’s a good one and we’re pleased with it. What about you? Xxx
Ahhhhh I really don’t think I could test early. I’ve had that many negative pregnancy tests from years of trying that I don’t think i could deal with the disappointment. I’d rather just have them tell me.

Do you do a test on the 15th at home or back at the hospital? I have never tested early and really dont advise it, as sometimes it can give false hope.. I just think why go through the mind boggle early, when you can just wait and be sure...

I’ve opted to go to the hospital for this test as it’s our first time doing IVF so think I’ll feel better if it’s bad news having it in person in case I have any questions.

Yeah I agree, I’d rather make it to test date and get the outcome then rather than a nasty surprise tomorrow! Not much, I’m feeling a little sicky but the sore boobs have calmed down a lot. I felt dizzy the other day but that too seems to have calmed down. That’s what’s making me a little nervous but I guess symptoms can go either way. How are your symptoms going? Your testing on Father’s Day aren’t you? Xx
Oh it's just such a rollercoaster isn't it?! I've heard symptoms are more obvious at the beginning and then die down, so that sounds about right. I had a spot of blood yesterday and today, praying it's implantation.. but who knows?! Yeah Father's Day x
Your timing sounds like implantation to me, but I’ve heard that sporting in early pregnancy is really common anyway! I’m feeling a little crampy today so praying I’m not coming on! Xx
No you are not coming on today! Also with my pregnancy, I couldn't believe how much I felt I was coming on & I didn't.. I had heard so many people talk about the similar feelings & didn't believe it as much until that time. It was exactly like pre period feelings & I was pregnant! You will be fine xx

Good luck Sibbo and to everyone else. This waiting game is just horrendous isn’t it! I’m 5dp5dt and otd is 12th. I had the usual cramping earlier on in the week and on day 2 I had spotting and lower back pain. Then nothing which made me worry. Had a few twinges today but nothing else. Trying to stay positive but it’s so hard isn’t it x

God I'm on my third day in on my 2ww! I am already losing my mind. When you say cramps, does it feel like your muscles are pulled in your lower abdomen? Or is that something to do with the transfer? Feel like I'm constantly tensing and I'm not. Good luck <3 xx
It’s awful! I don’t know how I’m going to last!! Mine are more of period pain cramps but worse. They started with stabbing like pains and are now more of a dull ache but a lot less. Can’t tell if it’s a good thing them easing off or a bad thing, it’s all so complicated 😣 xxx
Yes just like that bfinn. I think they are more like twinges than cramps. This 2ww does funny things to you and makes you feel like you’re going mad so I’m glad I’m not the only one. For a start my otd is the 14th not the 12th!! I’m trying not to google every little thing but it’s so hard isn’t it x
Honestly I’m the same. I’ve Google’s literally everything I could possibly think of! I know it’s so unhealthy but you can’t help it when there’s so much riding on it lol 🤦🏽♀️ x
