So I stopped drinking alcohol about 3 weeks before our transfer and will not be touching a single drop in this pregnancy. I've even stayed away from the non alcoholic wines since finding out I'm pregnant as I'm trying to stick to water and teas and fruit juice.
However after the scare we had this week I really fancy having something a bit more special tonight. I really like the non alcoholic stowford press and the Tesco eisberg non alcoholic wine but both of them say alcohol content less than 0.05%v so they have a tiny amount in even though they say alcohol removed. Is this safe to have or can anyone else recommend something else I could have? Trying to avoid shloer as it's so sugary and sweet. Anyone found any other amazing alternatives?

I found some really lovely non alcoholic sparkling wine in the co-op. They have a white or rose version. I don't know if you have a co-op near you. When I was pg last year I had the odd small glass of wine or shandy but this time around I am being super careful and am trying to stick to water and on the odd occasion I'll have a soft drink (but only light mixer drinks, not coke or really sugary drinks). My husband bought himself some wine for this evening so I bought a bottle of appletiser as a treat. I suppose it depends what you like. What about one of the elderflower type drinks, or the fever tree tonics are really yummy 😊
I think that tiny amount will be safe, but Tesco do an own brand non-alcoholic beer which is 0.0% or I do like just tonic water/lime and soda or elderflower/soda- all taste like an “evening drink” rather than a daytime drink.
I’ve been drinking grapetizer and appletizer is a wine glass for the odd treat. The grape one tastes really nice and had this in a champagne glass over Christmas so people thought I was having a drink!! Xx
The best ones I’ve found are a non-alcoholic G&T which taste almost identical to a real gin & tonic but uses all natural botanicals. It’s by a UK independent called TeeTotal and you can buy them on Amazon: amazon.co.uk/Teetotal-GnT-A...
There’s also a really nice non alcohol prosecco called The Bees Knees which you can find at Ocado. 🍾
I had a non alcoholic kopparberg at Christmas and it tasted just the same as the normal version x
I know you said you don't like beer, but for those who do and follow this thread, I just want to share that the Brewdog brewery's Nanny State beer is the best tasting alcohol-free beer I've managed to find.
When going to the pub with friends I usually have either ginger beer, elderflower soda or cranberry juice (which is actually quite healthy, and looks like a cocktail if you have it with ice and a slice of lime - although I try to avoid the lime as they don't wash them at bars, and the insecticides in the peel can't be good).
In London there's also the Urban Cordial Company that does some pretty amazing fruit juice only cordials which you can also find at some pubs and restaurants, and they have online some lovely alcohol-free cocktail recipes using their cordials.
