down regulation bleed

sorry about TMI. i took final northiserone on tuesday & am now waiting for bleed which should start within 3-5 days. since last night i’ve been having brown spotting, but not fresh blood. does this count as my period starting?

i remember from last 2 rounds it took me a few extra days (typical how the one time we want our periods to show they’re late)

My clinic said it doesn’t count as your period until it’s a full flow and you need to use a towel, hope that helps x

Hi

This happened to me

I had brown spotting went for a scan 9 days after I'd stopped taking norethisterone and they said in the next few days my period should show

In total it took 12 days to show up after I stopped taking norethisterone

Even though they advised me it should show with in 3/5 days

I was worried that they might cancel the cycle as it took so long to come but they didn't and now I'm on my 2ww

So typical when you want your period it won’t show up. Glad to hear it’s finally made an appearance and things can get underway for you xx
