Ivf/icsi after vasectomy reversal

First day of injections! After 2 years of waiting,finnaly is happening! Hope everything will be alright!

Good luck I am in the same position my hubby had a vasectomy reversal too he had it August 2014 reversed we are also doing icsi, seen ur last post we were no eligible for nhs funding as any person who has chosen to be sterilised/ vasectomy will not get nhs funding if he never had a vasectomy even thou he has kids and I don’t we would have got our ivf cycles on the nhs. We did one cycle at Aberdeen clinic with sadly failed in September, now we are at a new clinic in Glasgow we are doing access fertility a money back plan 3 shots / cycle if no baby we get 100% our money back. Have to pay for drugs separate mines was £1000 this cycle just had egg collection Monday. Xx

Hi. The same situation with us, although this is my first try of ivf . I’m paying one cycle only. I don’t know how old are you, but I’m 29. No problem with me so far but my husband reversal it didn’t work after 2 years. Just after the operation the doctor said it worked, but in time the scar tissue made it impossible! In other words NHS is killing the families with this stupid vasectomy! They do it for free and when it comes to reverse it they simply don’t care about you! My husband did it when he was 30 years old!!! Anyway, I wish you all the luck in the world,!!!!! Well get there in the end!

Same as me am 29 will be 30 in June my husband did the vasectomy in his late 20s had it done for 8 years then got it reversed. So far there’s nothing found wrong with me. I know this sound terrible but I love my husband but I think why me why did I end up why a man who did this too himself, sometimes I think of leaving but he is a good husband and we get on great. He never told me about the vasectomy until months after I met him was already in love with him then xx

I understand you perfectly! I’ve been through a lot for my husband. But on the other side he is the best thing happened to me ! I’ll start all over again for him. Been together for nearly 10 years now. I’ll be 30 in July 😆
