7th day scan, 3 follicules of 12 mm, low AMH

Hello. I am a little disappointed today as from my 7 AFC, only 3 follicules seems to react to stimulation, the others are not growing very fast and unlikely to catch up. I am now conscious that the likelihood of having one healthy embryo with this IVF cycle is close to none. What are you experience? Also is good grow and good size of follicule already a good sign and predict that the egg could be of good quality? Many thanks for your feedback.

Hi Clementinedam. Maybe your clinic will keep you on medication for a few more days to see whether the other follicles will catch up ready for the trigger shot to release eggs into them. It looks like you will get some eggs on collection day, so fingers crossed that what are collected, go on to all fertilise. Good luck and I shall be thinking of you. Diane

Hello, maybe your clinic has suggested. Alight dose of medication? I had mine today too and she did say it can take some women up to two weeks to grow folicles? Hopefully more time will tell for u xx

Perhaps your clinic might make some adjustments to your medication or have you use stimulation drugs another few days? Good luck x

It took me 15 days of stims before I was ready for collection on my first round so don't give up hope just yet x

Hi-I’ve just had egg collection this week (first time) but I was on the stims meds for 16 days before my booster and then ec. At 7 days I had hardly anything so don’t lose hope. So maybe your clinic will adjust your meds and keep you on them a bit longer so they can do EC at the right time for you. They won’t want to do it too early for you either as they’ll want to maximise your chances. Don’t lose heart and good luck!
