Miscarriage specialist can’t help us 😔

Had a phone call on Tuesday from our doc at the clinic just letting us know that she has heard back from the miscarriage specialist and they have said that there is nothing they can do for us that we have tried everything that they can think of so it means we just carry on doing what we were doing and pray for the best. xxx

This must have been such a shock after hoping u would get some answers. Have u looked into tommys centre for miscarriage? I believe they have 3 clinics across the UK and will accept u with a GP referral if uv had 3 or more early miscarriages or 1 late miscarriage? xx

Not so much as a shock maybe a little bit relieved in a way as wasn’t looking forward to more tests and meds that might not work and more money that we don’t have at least we know that we have dotted every I and crossed every T and have done everything right, our fertility doc asked our gp if they could refer us to a miscarriage specialist but our gp said no so our doc got in touch and this is what they came back with, we have had 4 early miscarriages and have 1 chance left xxx

I'm sorry to hear this. Have you had tests done on your partner's sperm or an NK cell test? (Coventry) These were the next steps for me after our recurrent miscarriages were assessed as 'unexplained' and we had already tried treatment with progesterone, steroids and clexane. It is so frustrating not to have an obvious explanation.

My fiancé has 2 children from a previous relationship so they don’t really see the need to do more tests on him xxx

This happened to me after attending the recurrent miscarriage clinic in and I decided to look at medical trials and I’ve had further tests and scans

After our 2nd miscarriage they thought I might have a clotting condition so had some more blood tests done and they came back saying that I have a blood clotting condition so started me on blood thinners so we thought that was sorted but then went on to loose another 2 times 😔 xxx

It’s when they say it will work next time they have said that to us on every cycle that really doesn’t help me when I loose yet again xxx
