Thanks everyone for your messages.

Just come back from the clinic.

We retrieved 4 mature eggs.

Felt a bit disappointed at 1st. I'm ok now.

Just need to be positive.

Will get a call tomorrow to find out if they have fertilized.

Praying lots. X

Hi Raz_87. That's not so bad. Fingers crossed they all fertilise and get to blastocyst. Have a good rest now and drink plenty of water. Thinking of you. Diane

Well done on your egg collection, hope the procedure itself went alright for you. Keeping everything crossed that those little eggs fertilise xx

Hi Dunla.

The nurse and doctors were all so nice.

I was out of it when the procedure happened.

My husband videod me when they got me back in my room in a wheelchair.

I looked like I just woke up but I don't remember it. Lol

I was thanking the Dr so much. Lol

Aw that’s fantastic, it makes all the difference in the world to have a positive experience. One of the times I was under deep sedation the nurse said I was talking away in my sleep during the procedure, calling my husband’s name and all. I’m sure they have seen and heard it all 🤣 xx

Oh my gosh. If only they gave us a recorded copy of it all. Lol

I never got the chance to ask the Dr what i was like in there.

I do remember someone trying to wake me up though. Cos I kept falling asleep in my room. This is after procedure. Meant to be fully awake then.

I was just incredibly tired. Didn't sleep much the night before. Must've got about 5 hours kip.

Hi Raz_87 on our first icsi, we got 9 eggs but only one made it to transfer day. Second time we got 4 eggs and 2 made it to transfer day. So don't fret too much, 4 eggs is good - it's quality over quantity xx
