Hi all

At my 28 week growth scan both babies are doing well at 2 1/2 each now which is good for twins and the consultants are really happy with their growth .

There was a bit of protein in my urine which is needing to be monitored . My platelets are also low at 136 and they should be at 150 or above in pregnancy so this has to be closely monitored as it is a clotting issue and means I could bleed more after I’ve had the c section or during so they have to speak to the anthestetist , I’m slightly worried about both of the issues which have now arised. The blood pressure is now under control .

Time really has flown . I have 9 weeks to go and they will be delivered. 2nd trimester dragged a little but now in third it seems so close . Thank you for all the support. Lots of love hope you are okay xx

My platelets hovered between 135 and 145 for my last 3 months of pregnancy and caused me no problems. Only an issue if drop well below 100 so yours sound reasonable. When i looked up info on it, it can be relatively normal in pregnancy, affecting 1 in 10. Think all sounds positive and they will monitor you closely to make sure it doesn't cause you any problems. Thank you . I panic about everything since it’s all worked out. I don’t think the panic ever goes away does it. It sounds odd .. but I’m glad I’m not the only one with lower platelets. I’m hoping that the second blood test comes back as okay . Xx

Hi my platelets were 88. They had cross matched blood ready in theatre for my section, it wasn't needed. Don't fret touch about numbers lovely ❤️

I had protein in my urine at my last check (33 weeks) they will just monitor it. I had to do the GTT but everything was ok xx

Luckily the GTT test was negative but that’s where they found the platelets were lower than they would like them to be . Thank you button 123 xx
