In the last few days I've had cramps and back ache to the point yesterday I could hardly walk. TMI but I then had pink stained progesterone lastnight so had a minor meltdown thinking the worst. I called for advice and they booked me in at EPU this morning. I have my 12 week appointment on Friday but the cramp was so bad I went along. It was by far the most amazing and unexpected experience of my life. I didn't look at the screen and just looked at my DH, holding his hand and then the sonographer said 'look can you see the heartbeat?' My head spun around so fast and I burst into tears I was that shocked. The baby was doing somersaults and their arms and legs were flying in different directions. I post this to give other ladies some hope and to keep going on your journey. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd see our baby like I did today. Also if you're cramping try not to fear the worst as I put myself, my DH and likely the baby through so much stress lastnight because I let the fear take over. Good luck to everyone no matter what stage of the journey you're at. X
