BIG thank you to our egg donor

Yesterday with the kindest help from our egg donor we got 5 blastocysts. This is an amazing result for us as we never got to this stage before with my eggs. Now they are frozen and waiting for me to be ready for transfer. We are over the moon and so grateful to this lovely woman who gave us the best Christmas gift we could ever dream of. I don't know if they will survive the defrosting process nor if we will get a child at the end but we never been so closed to have our family. For this reason I will never forget her. There is no words for me to say how thankful and grateful we are. I hope one day I will meet her. Just wanted to share this with you all. I wish everyone every success in their IVF journey

Same donor first time was a fresh and failed second go was a fet and worked xx

That's lovely news. We did egg donation too and managed to get 6 blastocysts and we were over the moon too, such a wonderful thing that the people donating do isnt it! No joy yet with a BFP but hopefully one day!xx

Hi mimisquiz77, I am in the same boat as u, we have 1 great blasto inside me atm my OTD is Sat 9th 2017, and we have 2 very gud blastos in the frezzer. I dont think people understand mych about egg donors and how unselfish they are, only for my egg donor me and my hubby wouldnt have this chance or another 2 chances at having a child/childre. Even tho I dont no my donor I always think of her every single day.

I agree, some people unfortunately do not understand how unselfish they are.

I think about her every single day too. For me she is part of the family. I will always be grateful. I hope I will meet her one day. I wish all the best best. Take care xx
